The first thing that needed to be done was to stop the core's vibrations. The thing I originally set out to do with Jake and Cecily who I had learned disappeared after I joined the God-Generals. They apparently went back to Yulia City.

"So Jake and Cecily are the people we need to seek out first?" Jade asked.

"Kind of, it's hard to explain but they were saying the same things that Ion said to me about my Goddess Fonic Artes. So I think they might be able to help." We took the alboire, which was a flying machine, to Yulia City.

"We were expecting you." Jake said when we got off of the ship. I frowned and looked at the ground. "I never thought we'd be seeing you on our side again, Zora. Though are you really on our side? Or are you just faking again?" I hugged my arms and looked at him.

"I know I have to earn back your trust. I know I have a lot to do, but right now I want to start with what I can do to help stop the core vibrations. I have one more Goddess Fonic Hymn to remember. I need all the help I can get in remembering it. I need you and Cecily's help." He looked at me hard and then turned signaling for me to follow.

"Cecily and I will take over her training for now, you all go and find a way to get down to the core." Jake called over his shoulder to everyone else.

"I'll stay here with Zora." Ion said and followed us inside Yulia City.

"Oh look the traitor is back." Cecily said as we walked into the training room. I looked down.

"Cecily, I..." She cut me off.

"Save it, we have better things to do than listen to your apologies. I know you want your family back but really, trying to destroy the world is a little extreme don't you think?" I nodded.

"You're right, that's why I need to remember my last Goddess Fonic Hymn so I can stop the core's vibration." She nodded at me and then took her place in the training area.

"Then show me your resolve, Zora. And this time you better mean it because I will not hold back." I took my place in the training area as well and let a sword appear at my waist.

"Is this really necessary?" Ion asked worried.

"Yes Ion, if I don't know the last Goddess Fonic Hymn by the time they all get back then there is only one way to stop the core and that will take more time. Time we don't have, so I have to fight with everything I've got in order to learn the last Goddess Fonic Hymn, which just so happens to be the Song of Battle."

I charged Cecily, who dodged without anything effort.

"Is that all you got?" She kicked me into the wall. I felt the metallic taste of blood in my mouth.

"I'm just getting warmed up." She smirked at me as we continued to fight.

Three hours have passed and I still haven't learned the hymn. I can feel my energy wavering, but I can't give up. Not with Ion and everyone trying so hard to help. I can't lose to Van or anyone for that matter. I have to stop his plan before it's too late.

"That's enough for now." Cecily said and turned to leave the room.

"Wait!" I called after her.

"You think by continuously fighting that you'll learn the hymn? You won't now go rest and eat. You need to keep up your strength too." She left without another word. I collapsed to the ground panting at the lack of air in my lungs. Ion rushed to my side.

"Zora, are you alright?" He asked worried at my condition.

"I'm an idiot...I had everything I could ever want right in front of me and I threw that way for what? Someone who told me everything I wished I could have back...Van gave me something I had always wanted and wished for...freedom, freedom from my home and freedom to do as I pleased, but in return I would kill and do everything he asked of me. I realize now that, that isn't freedom it's obedience...I never had any freedom, I only had another cage with a little more flexibility. I was able to roam and do as I wanted as long as it fit with his ideals, if I overstepped that he was make sure I would never do it again..." I said looking at my shaking hands on the ground.
