My body felt like it was in limbo, I couldn't feel anything physically, but mentally I was in so much pain by my memories.

It all started when I saw the memories of when I first met Jade.

I want you meet your caretaker, Jade Curtis.

Jade...

It's a pleasure to meet you, Your Highness.

I'm Zora!

Well it's a pleasure, Zora my dear. I hope you are this entertaining every day. I look forward to being able to spend my days with you.

Same, I love you already Jade!

My caretaker, but more than that my first friend. I was eight when we had first met. He was always there when I needed him and it was saddening knowing that he would now be alone for the rest of his life.

Then came the first time I met Sync and Arietta.

This is Sync and Arietta, two members of the Oracle Knights.

Sync and Arietta, it's a pleasure to meet you both. I look forward to working with the two of you.

You seem way too polite for a princess, what's your secret.

Sync, there's nothing wrong with being polite every once in a while. Forgive me if I come across as too polite, but I think it is only respectful that we greet people with the utmost curtesy.

Way too polite, but it's whatever I mean you seem okay.

Sync, that's just rude. She's the princess after all we serve her in a sense. If you make her mad then you could lose your position as one of the Oracle Knights and then you would never be able to be a God-general one day.

A God-General, I have heard scary and interesting things about the ones currently. Though I would think that you two would be too young to be in the God-Generals.

What was that?

I meant no offense by it. How old are you Sync?

I'm 16!

Oh.

Yeah oh!

Ignore him, he's very sensitive when it comes to his age.

I see.

Oh shut up you two!

They were both laughing with me by the end of that day, Arietta who became my sister a few months later and Sync my best friend from then on. Both died for Van's cause, I died for my own cause, I guess it was a simpler death for me, but still.

"Zora!" I heard all of a sudden come rushing through my mind.

Someone is calling out to me. But who? I can barely make out a male voice, but again who is it? Someone I know?

"Zora, don't you dare die on us!" This voice, I knew it from somewhere, but my mind was nothing but a jumbled up mess at the moment.

"Zora!!!" That's when a name flashed across my mind.

Ion!

I struggled to open my eyes and when I finally did I could see several people around me.

"Where...am I?" I asked confused and a little out of it.

"Thank god, she's alright. You're in the hospital in Belkend, after you collapsed at the Sephiroth we thought we lost you." I looked at Ion as he smiled lightly at my side.
