Chapter 3: Fon Master Ion

                  

When the light went away we were in Yulia City. It was in a place called the Qliphoth, which was underneath the world itself. A thing called miasma was causing poisonous effects for the inhabitants of the Outer Land and so it was moved underneath the ground with Yulia City. Jake and Cecily were born and raised here as Watchers, which were people who uphold the Score.

"Welcome back to Yulia City, Zora." Jake said and smiled lightly. I coughed lightly as a little bit of miasma got into my throat.

"We should get inside, it's safer there." I nodded as Cecily spoke and we rushed inside her house.

"So the core is going crazy?" I asked once we were all settled.

"Yeah, only this time we really do need your help. Your Goddess Fonic Artes are what is needed to stop the core once and for all." I looked at the ground.

"I know you must have heard by now, but I lost the ability to use my Hymns and Artes when my mother and sister were killed at Hod. I don't know how it happened, I just can't use them anymore." Jake put a hand on my shoulder.

"I know, your father told me while we were waiting. I am going to help you regain your lost abilities, but you have to trust me." I nodded slightly.

"Good, then let's head to Daath."

"Why Daath?"

"Because maybe Fon Master Ion knows how to unlock your abilities, if not then we will have to do this the long way and it will take a lot more time." I nodded and we disappeared once again in a hyperresonance. This time when the light vanished we were in the Order of Lorelei city of Daath, home to the Fon Master.

We headed to the chapel to see if Ion was there and hopefully he was.

"Your Highness, what are you doing here?" Someone asked. I turned my head and saw the head of the Order of Lorelei, Grand Maestro Mohs standing there.

"Mohs, we came here to see if Fon Master Ion was here." Mohs frowned.

"No he's gone missing, no one can find him anywhere." I frowned. I had met Ion a few times and he was the sweetest person you would ever meet. Why would anyone take him?

"I think we should look for him. I mean what do we got to lose?" I said.

"Very well. Let's start with Maluth, maybe someone has seen him somewhere." I nodded and we headed out of the city towards our first destination Engeve.

After being attacked numerous times by monsters we finally arrived in Engeve. I saw some men drag a guy with red hair away to a house in the back of the village. I waited until everything had calmed down when I noticed Fon Master Ion walking out of a storehouse.

"Fon Master!?" I called out and he stopped, turning. He smiled lightly when he saw us.

"Zora, Jake, Cecily, what are you all doing here?" He asked confused, but happy nonetheless to see us.

"We could ask you the same question, we had heard that you disappeared from the cathedral at Daath, we came here to look for you and I guess we were really lucky that we found you. Why did you leave Daath without telling Mohs?" I asked as we approached him.

"I'm sorry, there's something I was asked to do and I won't go back to Daath until I finish it." I could see the determination in his eyes.

"Well if that's the case then I guess we have no choice but to go with you and whoever it is you are with to make sure you stay safe." He smiled brightly.
