We headed straight for the castle when we got back to Grand Chokmah. I stopped when I felt a familiar presence nearby.

"What's wrong Zora?" Jade asked.

"Nothing, I'll join you all shortly." They all walked away. Once they we were all out of sight I turned and saw Sync standing there.

"Sync..."

"Arietta told me, I forgive you." I smiled lightly.

"Thank you." He smiled lightly, his mask was gone and his black clothes were now white.

"Come with me Zora." He held out a hand to me. "Van has forgiven everything." I looked down.

"Sync...I..." He put his hands on my shoulders.

"You don't have to be afraid. I know you are. I thought you wanted to be with me?" I froze and looked at him.

"Sync."

"I heard you tell Ion and Jade that you love me." I backed away a step and felt my face get red.

"I thought you were dead."

"Well I'm not. I'm right here and I'm here to get you. Are you coming with me or no?" He asked a little edge coming into his voice.

"Sync, I can't go back to Van." He laughed a little.

"Of course you can, it's not hard. Just take my hand and we can go." I backed away again.

"I mean I won't go back to him." That's when Sync jumped back as an arrow flew past where we had just been.

"Natalia!" I called out when I saw her and the others come running down the steps towards us.

"You don't have long to decide. Zora, you just have to come with me." I looked at him.

"I love you but do you love me?" He seemed a little shocked by the question. "And don't lie I know when you lie." He looked down.

"I have for a long time, Zora. Why do you think I pushed you away at the core?" I took a step towards him.

"Then why are you helping Van? Stay with me and we can live in a new world together." He shook his head.

"I hate this world, I could never stay here, even if it was with you." I looked away.

"That's not the Sync I remember. I remember the Sync that would get angry at me for calling him a little kid, the Sync that would laugh and joke around with me when we were doing nothing of real importance. And most of all I miss the Sync that I fell in love with when I was a 16. The day I first met you." Everyone had stopped and started listening to me.

"Zora..." I rushed up to him and hugged him tightly.

"Please stay, because if you leave then you'll have to kill me first." He froze in those moments.

"Zora, you don't mean that."

"I do, with all my heart mean that, you could just kill me right now if you intend to leave. I won't fight you." I felt my chest starting to ache. I was seeing my vision blur a little. That's when I remembered what the doctors said to me after my surgery.

Your heart is stable but if you get yourself too worried over something then it will start to fail again. You have to keep a calm composure in the most difficult of situations. Can you do that?

I was going to die if I didn't calm down. I backed away from him and breathed lightly to calm down and I could feel the ache subsiding.

"Zora, you're dying I know that much. Van told me when I saw him again. I want to help you. I heard about what happens if you get too worked up. You get that way around me don't you? That's why you had to get away from me just now." I looked away from him.
