I was escorted back on to the Tartarus and we went on to the main deck. I looked between the three God-Generals who were surrounding me. Legretta would have been the biggest threat if I attempted to run, she was fast. I had just barely been able to dodge her bullets. Arietta wouldn't harm me, she was my sister after all and I knew she cared about me too much to even think about harming me in any way. Largo I wasn't sure about, I mean he was pleasant enough, but something about him just screamed I'll kill you in a heartbeat if you even think about running.
"I'm so sorry for the rude escort, Zora." I heard a rough male voice and I looked forward to see a man I knew all too well.
"Commandant Grants, so I see you're the one who controls the God-Generals and who has been kidnapping Fon Master Ion to use his Daathic Artes." I stated and moved away from my escorts.
"It's nice to see you again Your Highness." He said smiling.
"Don't smile at me as if you know anything about me. Now tell me what you're planning to do." I growled.
"I don't think so, not until I'm sure I have your undivided cooperation." I glared at him.
"Why would I help you?" He chuckled.
"Because you have no other choice unless you'd rather die?" He questioned. I smirked.
"Then kill me." He seemed surprised by my answer.
"Hmm, see that would prove to be problematic at this stage in my plans. Largo, take her to a holding cell until we can convince her otherwise." Largo went to grab me and I jumped away. The click of a gun behind my head made me freeze.
"Another move like that and I'll fire. Now move." She growled at me and I sighed.
"Fine." I followed Largo down to one of the cells and was pushed inside before the electric bars came down. I sat down on one of the beds in the room and looked down at my hands.
If only my Goddess Fonic Hymns were all back, then I could actually stand a chance against the God-Generals and Commandant Grants. But what can I do to get out of this situation and warn everyone of what Van is planning to do? I mean is that even going to work? Would anyone believe me if I actually did attempt to explain?
I was thinking all of this when I heard footsteps coming down the hallway. I looked up to see the familiar face of Sync.
"What do you want?" I asked harshly as I looked away.
"You know I don't want to see you locked up here. Please just listen to what Van has to say. I know you aren't happy about what happened on Hod are you?" I looked at him sharply.
"Is Van planning to do something about what happened to Hod?" I asked.
"In a sense yes. You want revenge on the one who dragged your mother and sister there as it was about to fall right? You want to avenge their deaths correct?" I looked at him and then down at my hands as I thought about my mother and sister. I felt the tears on my hands as I buried my face in them.
The electric bars came down and in an instant someone was hugging me tightly.
"Zora, we will get revenge for them. I don't want you to suffer anymore. I know now what I didn't know then and that's that I really care about you. I don't want you to be alone anymore and I know that's what you are is alone. So listen to Van and help us. That way we can all live to see the future together." I looked up at Sync and he had a small smile on his face. I reached up and took off his mask.
"As long as you promise to stay alive long enough for that future to come where we can both see it." I muttered. He grabbed my hand lightly, pulling it away from his face.
