I went into the kitchen to see his mom cooking up something. The aroma made me gag and I felt like throwing up. She turned to see me and I quickly tried to cover up. I didn't want it to seem like I hated the smell of her food or something.
"Do you want to help me with the food?" She asked
Truthfully I couldn't stay in this kitchen any longer or I would throw up right away.
"Can I excuse myself really quick please?"
She nodded "Go ahead"
"I'm sorry, I'll be right back"
I covered my mouth and walked past Jaiden and his cousins who were playing call of duty. We went to the doctors last week and the lady said I had a viral infection.
I heard the kids in the other room playing around. Great.. everybody's having a good time while I'm feeling like shit. I shut the door and leaned over the toilet. Seconds later I was throwing up. There was a knock at the door.
"Just a sec" I said then going back to throwing up
I stood up and flushed the toilet. After gargling some mouth wash and washing my hands I opened the door to see one of Jaiden's cousins.
"Oh hey Lamar"
"Sup. You in here throwing up?" He stared at me walking out
"Uh yeah. I'm sick" I said
"Yeah ok..." he said before going in
I rubbed off the sarcasm in his voice and went back downstairs.
"Nigga! You cheating!" Aaron got mad and stood up
"Nah nigga you just ass" Jaiden laughed
"I'm done. Y'all niggas stay cheating and shit" he left
I went over to Jaiden and sat on his lap. All day his attention has been on his family and not me. I understand that but I do miss him. He tried playing while I was on him
"I just came to see you for a little. I'm about to help your mom with the food"
"Really?" His eyes still fixed on the flat screen "You missed me?"
I rubbed his neck and sighed "Pretty much"
"ah shit" he said. His cousin killed him then he passed the controller to his friend. At least he didn't get upset this time. He usually gets upset playing these games
"You missing me like we far from each other"
I smiled then laughed a little "I am, I am...."
He rubbed on my waist then lowered it to my butt "when you done come back and hang with me then"
