"So- you aren't jealous or scared at all?"

Dan raised an eyebrow at Chris, who was staring right back at him with a serious look on his face from his computer.

As Dan talked to PJ quite a bit as well, he and Chris just seemed to click together more. This resulted in them talking on a daily basis and becoming good friends.

They were currently skyping, Chris listening to Dan talk about Phil's new friend.

"No, why would I be?"

"I don't know.." Chris shook his head. "Just the fact that he's been so.. Delayed with you. Like you said, he's been cancelling those long skype calls you guys always plan, doesn't answer your texts for long periods of time.. I just don't feel very good about this, Dan."

"Are you really suggesting what I think you're suggesting?"

Chris sighed, running his hands through his hair. "Don't hate me, but honestly? Yes."

Dan shook his head. "Chris, you're silly. Phil wouldn't cheat on me. He'd never. He's... Well... He's Phil."

Chris sighed again. "I don't know, Dan. You're his boyfriend. He should be devoting most of his free time for you. Not all, but most. And when he pays so much attention to someone else.. I just don't think it seems right."

Dan shrugged. "It's a new friend who has lots in common with him. Of course Phil's gonna spend a lot of time with Charlie, it's great to find someone who shares a lot of the same interests. You always have so much fun with those people, so you naturally want to spend a lot of time with them."

"But here's the loop hole in that statement of yours, Dan." Chris replied, taking a drink of his water. "You and Phil are a lot alike, and go great together. Why isn't he trying his best to spend lots of time with you? Didn't you just say that people naturally go for those who have lots in common with them?"

Dan bit his lip, looking down at his lap. Chris was right. He'd literally just used Dan's own words against him, but he was right.

Now it was Dan who was sighing and nervously running his fingers through his hair.

"Dan- don't get all worried and hung up over this. I could easily be wrong, and I don't want you to have to have this on your mind 24/7." Chris said. "I just wanted to make you... aware. Be careful, okay?"

Dan nodded. "Yeah. Okay. Thanks Chris."

Chris dropped his serious emotion with a funny wink. "You betcha."

Dan chuckled, shaking his head at the boy on the screen. "I'm really lucky to have you and PJ, you know that?"

Chris grinned.

"Oh, I know."
