We pull up to a big silver building that says "Syco Music" all the girls look excited and ready to go except Camila.
We head inside and we're bought to this board room with a great view of London. The girls make there way over to the snack bar, eating until their cheeks are full.
Charles comes in and taps me on the shoulder "they're ready for you ma'am" he says nodding to me.
"They're gonna talk to me first and then we'll bring you in" I say to the girls and then walk out into to the hallway.
I go inside the room and I'm immediately greeted by Simon with a hug "hello, how are you" he says with a smile.
"Sleepy, but it's a normal feeling" I say chuckling. I never really have time to sleep and relax when I'm constantly writing, performing, or promoting new music.
"Hey Melajah" nick greets me as I sit down across from him. I give him a small smile.
"So should we get right to it?" A man with a black quiff speaks "hi I'm John and I will be representing Epic Records, Syco and I teamed up and the girls are getting signed to both labels" he says and I nod
"I want the girls to come on tour with me" I say crossing my legs and tapping a pen on the table "I think it would be a great opportunity for them as artist and as young adults going into the industry, they will be able to get hands on action with everything from backstage to the stage itself" I say. Everyone's attention goes to me
"Go on" Nick says
"If they come on tour, it will ultimately help their fanbase grow. Right now they just got off the Xfactor so everyone knows them, their everywhere online but once that dies out people will start to forget" I say rubbing my bottom lip
"Right now they have the medias attention, everybody is wondering about what Fifth Harmony is doing next" I say hitting the table "I think we should get right in the studio whenever we can, I'll write for them and I'll help them myself" I say
"That's actually not a bad idea" Simon says rubbing his chin and looking at John
"We just need your 100% commitment that you will help these girls out, don't give up when things get hard" John says to me
"Bring them in" I say to Charles.
He leaves for a brief second and all five girls walk in the room quietly. Their hands stuck to their sides as they seem to move in slow motion. Nervousness spread all across their faces.
"Well as you know" John smiles at them "you ladies are being signed to a label that is very much interested in you. I'm John" he says and simon says hello to them
"Uh the process is very basic and very simple, you sign here and here and then we will get things started" John says
"Ladies I need you in the studio by next week, your gonna start a YouTube channel and post little covers so people and fans won't forget" Simon says " we need to push you guys out there a little and we need you guys to be noticeable, we're hiring a pr for you guys." Simon says
"We're going to build a brand around you guys, and soon you'll be one of the most popular girl groups globally" Nick smiles at them
"Things are going to get hard from now on, everything isn't all candy pops and rainbows ladies, you wanted this and now you have it. All you have to do is reach now" I say to them smiling softly
They all nod timidly, and look down at the papers in front of them. They each sign their names and then their gloom expressions disappear and a joyful expression replaces it.
They get up hugging and each other and ally comes over thanking me "this is beyond incredible, can't believe this is happening" she tears up into my jacket
"I need you guys in the studio writing today" I say to them thinking and they give me confused looks "I have this song, it was something I was working on that didn't really fit me but would be perfect for you"
"Loving the progress already" John says smiling "well I have to get going , we'll be in contact ladies" he says walking out
"Uh ladies you'll be here over the course of two days, go enjoy and have fun" Simon says "you'll have security with you at all times " he says and then walks out
Lauren grabs my hand and turns me around to face the girls "as you know, Melajah and I are something" she says looking up at me nervously
"What is something" Normani smirks
"A couple" I say proudly rubbing her hand
"Wow Lauren has a girlfriend" Camila says looking down rubbing her arm
"Yeah I do.." She smiles at me
