Poseidon's point of viewI decided to go see Percy, he hasn't visited lately and I know he has a lot on his mind right now since his son is now twelve and that's usually when monsters start attacking demigods. When Percy first accepted godhood I never thought that he would have a relationship with a mortal so soon after the daughter of Athena had broken up with him. I know that it was hard for him not to interfere in his son's life, but somehow he managed not to. I know that he is looking forward to finally being able to reveal himself to his son. I met the boy once but obviously I couldn't reveal who I was so I just gave the boy his sword, without saying much to him.
I knock on the door to Percy's palace and not long after Percy opened the door he said, "Hi Dad"
I said, "Hello Percy" and I followed him into his Palace.
Once we got in I could see what Percy had been doing. On the mirror in his living room was a scene that we had suspected would happen soon. We didn't know exactly how it would happen but we knew it was coming. The mirror showed my grandson in his school's gymnasium facing two Laistrygonian giants.
One of the giants threw the metal ball that he was holding toward a mortal boy. Suddenly the ball changed direction, and instead hit the giant that had thrown it. I was a bit confused about what had happened. I could only assume that Luke had discovered one of his powers, but I didn't know what exactly he had done. When I glanced over at Percy he had a faint smile on his face, I got the feeling that the smile would have been brighter if Luke didn't have one more Laistrygonian left to face. Out of curiosity I asked Percy what Luke had done, and he told me that he had reversed time. I looked back at the mirror, and I saw that Thankfully Luke remembered what I had said about the ring I gave him and after a moment of surprise when his ring turned into a sword he quickly put it to use.
I heard Percy sigh with relief when the second giant disintegrated, but then I heard him groan when the teachers blamed the damage to the gym on Luke. After this Luke left with his satyr Sam Wood. He would be taking him to camp and informing his mother of what happened.
After the image disappeared from the mirror I smirked at Percy and said "I guess you know now what I had to deal with every time you got yourself into danger."
Percy looked slightly amused when he said "I couldn't really help it, the monsters would usually find me not the other way around." After he said that I just smiled at him amused.
Luke's point of view
After Will finished showing me around camp we heard a horn go off.
"What does that mean?" I asked.
He said "That means it's time for dinner, I have to go lead my cabin there."
I nodded understanding we had walked by the dining pavilion earlier, and will had told me That I would be sitting at the Hestia table until I was claimed. Like Chiron he seemed certain that my father would claim me at dinner, like he already knew or suspected who my Dad is.
I walked to the dining pavilion and sat down at the Hestia Table after all the other cabins arrived I seemed to be the center of attention especially for the older campers they would look me over and then a look of confusion or realization would cross their face, like I looked familiar and they were trying to figure out why, or maybe they were trying to guess my godly parent. Most of the tables were talking and I had a feeling that they were talking about me.
Chiron banged his hoof on the marble floor of the pavilion and once everyone was silent he began to speak. He made some announcements and then he said, "And we have a new camper with us tonight..."
