Luke's Point of view
After I noticed the titan I thought that someone would have to deal with him, my dad wasn't here at the moment and if someone doesn't fight him he could cause a lot of damage. I fought my way toward him and when I reached him he said "Foolish demigod do you really think you can defeat me, I am Perses Titan of destruction."
I didn't bother replying I just swung my sword. after fighting for a while Perses said "I'm surprised demigod, you've lasted longer than I expected who is your parent, Zeus? Ares?" after I blocked a blow that was aimed for my chest I smirked and said "No my father is Perseus."
He seemed slightly surprised but then he said "I never faced your father myself, I remained neutral in the last war, but I heard how he defeated so many of my relatives." That made me wonder how many titans he had defeated. After we exchanged a few more blows he spoke again he said "It doesn't matter who your father is you won't defeat me demigod."
He had the longer sword so I knew I had to get closer, I blocked a cut aimed for my head, parried a strike toward my side after a while I realized I would have to use my powers to beat him otherwise I might get tired out before I land a hit on him. I slowed time around his arms so it was like he was trying to move through syrup.
I couldn't freeze him completely, he's still a titan after all. Obviously he was surprised when it was suddenly harder to move his sword arm. Before aiming another strike at him I said "did you forget what my dad is god of, because in case you did, two of his domains are Time, and swordsmanship." Then I struck he managed to block a few more of my blows even with time slowed but before too long I slipped past his guard and my sword met his hilt and I twisted.
Next thing I heard was a loud clang when the titan's sword met the pavement. And the next thing I saw was a shocked looking titan, the look on his face made me want to laugh but I said "so what were you saying about me not being able to defeat you?" I swung my sword and stabbed the shocked titan in the chest.
Once he was gone I let my control over time end, then I defeated a few more monsters. I thought about the disarming technique I had used, it was the first time I had used it but then again I don't usually have to be taught sword techniques in order to use them, half the time when I'm in a fight I will find myself using a technique for the first time.
It wasn't the fact that it was the first time I had used it that I was thinking about, it was how it felt to use it. It was like it just felt right to use it. I had the feeling that now that I knew it I will be using it a lot more. I fought for a while longer but Tartarus's forces were nearly defeated, they had begun retreating, heading back the way they had come, but suddenly it's hard to describe, but it was like the monsters were given an extra boost of energy or something, because they stopped retreating and fought with renewed confidence. What's worse is that seconds later some of our allies suddenly turned and started attacking the rest of us. And just my luck I was in the middle of the crowd of demigods who suddenly turned on us, why I wasn't affected I have no clue but I wasn't complaining either.
I fought my way out of the mob of campers knocking them out like I had any enemy demigods. After I fought my way out of the chaos, that's when I looked over the side of the bridge and saw that at the end of the bridge where we had started from my father and grandfather were standing facing a giant. Based on his appearance I assumed that he was my father's giant.
My dad seemed to be concentrating on something, and then the giant swung his sword at him. My dad was about to block it but my grandfather was faster, he blocked the blow with his trident. After that my dad seemed to be concentrating again while my grandfather fought the giant. I knew that they would need a demigod's help
