Percy's point of view

I couldn't help but wonder how Hyperion was back in the first place, I mean last time I saw him he was being destroyed by Tartarus. I couldn't see how he could come back after that, unless... I shoved those thoughts aside until I had more time to think about them. I could sense the minor god or goddess but I wasn't sure exactly who it was, so I headed toward them in order to find out who it was.

As I headed in that direction I killed monster after monster until I could see who my next opponent was. I soon found them and I wasn't really surprised by who it was since she had opposed us in the last war. I had never actually met her myself but I had been told about her by Piper, Leo and Jason. When I was close enough to her I said, "Khione"

she replied, "Perseus I have been waiting a long time to meet you."

I replied, "I can't say that the feeling is mutual, because it most definitely isn't."

"That can change." She said confidently, "why don't you just surrender, let the demigods fall, allow the other gods to be defeated, when this is over we can get to know each other better."

I had to admit I was confused I had gone over there expecting a fight now it's more like she is trying to flirt with me. I answered, "no thanks ice witch, I'm not interested."

Since she didn't seem to be interested in fighting me I quickly came up with another plan. While she was distracted trying to think of the next thing she would say I made celestial bronze shackles appear on her wrists. They would supress her powers enough that she wouldn't be able to teleport out of them. After the battle I would take her to Olympus where we would question her about who she was working for and what we are up against. Our next meeting might actually be interesting.

After I did that she started complaining, trying to get me to release her. Unlike Piper she isn't that great at persuading people to do what she wants. I just happened to look off to my left I saw that Annabeth had knocked Nico out and was now fighting her half-brother Malcolm. As I watched she disarmed him and knocked him out as well.

It seems that she couldn't bring herself to kill any of the demigods. That may show that she still has some good left in her but any demigods that she knocks out could still be trampled or attacked by monsters while they are down, so really she isn't helping.

I decided that I have to deal with her; she is one of the best fighters I have ever known so someone has to take her down before she causes too many people to get hurt. I headed toward her a scowl on my face at the very thought that she would even consider turning on us. But seeing it, well I was furious. We had been friends once, camp was her home, and how could she even consider attacking it? When I was close enough she said, "Percy please."

I said, "No give it up already we're done. Even if I might have given you another chance before, which I wouldn't have, you definitely won't be getting one now. How could you attack the camp like this?"

"They abandoned me, you abandoned me," she said simply.

Then in a blink of an eye she went from upset to angry and attacked. Even though I wasn't expecting it I easily blocked her blow. I am stronger than her but she is still pretty smart when it comes to fighting, I eventually disarmed her but she just pulled out her drakon bone sword and kept fighting it didn't make that much difference to me. Eventually I decided I'd had enough of fighting her so let's just say she got a shower, and afterward I disarmed her again.

I looked around and the battle seemed to be going in our favour for now but there was still Polybotes to worry about I'm sure that he is looking forward to fighting me again since it was me that had taken him down the last time I'm sure he was just itching to defeat me. Since our battle was going reasonably well I decided to check and see how Camp Jupiter was holding up.

When I got there my first thought was damn another giant, but this time it was Hippolytus. I figured that by the time I am done I'll be worn out god or not. If there was a titan here the Romans have already taken care of him. I decided I would deal with Polybotes first since the Romans seem to be doing okay for now.

I returned to camp half blood and walked right up to the giant. He said, "Perseus Jackson, I have to say that when I heard you accepted immortality I was pleased,"

my guess is he was pleased for the same reason that Ares was when I was offered immortality the first time, if I remember correctly Ares's reason was so he could beat me up and I would just keep coming back. Yeah well once I accepted it hadn't turned out the way Ares wanted and it won't turn out that way for Polybotes either.

While Polybotes was talking three demigods had snuck up on him, one of the three stabbed him in the leg and he quickly moved to retaliate with his trident. I grew to my full godly height in order to make it easier to fight the giant, thankfully the demigod rolled out of the way of Polybotes' trident. It was at that point that I realized who the three demigods were.
