Luke's point of view

It was the day before an army would supposedly be marching to attack our camp we were all uneasy and we spent the day training harder than usual. Now after a tiring day I was getting ready for bed. But of course once I fell asleep I had another dream. It was the same dark place as | had seen before, the same  male voice said, "Are our forces ready to march?"

A female voice said "Yes my lord, but some of the cyclopses left something about not being fed enough."

The first voice said, "damn those cyclopses, so unreliable."  The same voice said if they have not returned by morning you will march without them."

"Yes my lord," the woman replied.  The woman asked, "My lord how will we attack the Greek camp, they have magical borders that will prevent us from entering."

The the man who was obviously the leader said, "Don't you think you can take care of that with my blessing?"

The woman replied, "I-I don't know."

A new female voice said, "if that weakling demigod can't I can, you can rely on me I never failed Gaea."

The first woman said, "I can do it."

The commander replied,"in case you are too weak to complete the task assigned to you I will send her with you."

The first woman protested, "I can do it, I don't need her!"

the commander said, "she is going whether you like it or not!"

The  woman didn't argue any further but I was pretty sure she wasn't happy about it.  it was at this point that I woke up I decided that I would wait till morning before I told anyone about this dream, we already knew that there was going to be an attack, this was just further confirmation.

Third Person pov

A lone demigod stood on half-blood hill looking down into a place she had once called home. Now she was here to complete a task that would most likely lead to her former home's destruction. She was here to use the powers she had gained to kill the tree that used to hold her former best friend. Before she got here she thought she would have no problem completing her task, but now she wasn't so sure. She pointed her hand toward the tall pine tree in front of her. Yet she couldn't bring herself to complete her task. Memories kept coming back to her, running away from home at age seven, meeting a sandy haired guy with blue eyes and a girl with spiky black hair with electric blue eyes. The pair taking her in and telling her what she was and that they could be her new family.

Meeting another friend who led them to this camp where they could be trained. Entering camp half-blood with Luke and Grover, leaving Thalia to fend off the remaining monsters. And then learning that her friend Thalia had died trying to fend off all the monsters that had been sent after them and that her father had turned her into the tree that she is now supposed to kill in order for the army to get into the camp.     Suddenly there was a miniature snowstorm in a spot off to the demigod's left she scowled at the snow; she had never liked the snow goddess but she hated her even more now.

The snow goddess had offered her aid to their master if she would have a position of power in the new age that will begin once they were victorious. But the demigod knew the goddess's true motives, sure the goddess wanted power but she also wanted a certain someone unfortunately the demigod wanted the same someone. They both wanted Lord Perseus god of time, tides, waves, swordsmanship, loyalty and heroes.

The demigod stood there hand still pointed toward the tree when the snow goddess said, "You are weak, I knew you couldn't do it, I don't know why he still relies on you."

"He relies on me because I am one of his best strategists unlike you." The demigod spat back at the goddess who was really getting on her nerves.

"I'll take care of this" the snow goddess said as she roughly shoved the demigod out of her way.

The goddess pointed her hands toward the tree and a cloud of white surrounded the tree. When the goddess finished the tree didn't look any different, but on the inside the tree was completely frozen, even the magic of the Golden Fleece which was still hanging from its branch wasn't enough to prevent the camp's barriers from falling.

Luke's point of view

I still couldn't figure out who was behind the attack. I rolled over and went back to sleep still wondering about the dream.  It didn't seem like that would last though since I woke up  once again at five o'clock, I felt uneasy like there was an odd chill in the air even though it was June and  even if it wasn't the camp's magical boundaries keep out most of the bad weather.

I sat up and noticed Christina was also stirring. When she also sat up I said, "do you feel that?"

she just nodded. Too uneasy to go back to sleep I got up and got dressed and left the cabin. When I got outside I noticed that many other campers had also gotten up. Chiron was also up and everyone seemed to be looking toward half-blood hill where Thalia's pine stood.

It looked the same as ever but I knew that something was off because of the uneasy, almost vulnerable feeling that I was pretty sure we all had. Everything looked normal, but I was pretty sure that almost nothing was normal right now.  Since everyone was already up we had breakfast early and the rest of the day was spent training for the most part but during spare time I found myself spending time with Scooter Bryant and Hudson the son of Hades I had spoken to on my first day here.
