A/N I'm going to say this will probably only have two or three more chapters at most. that's because I'm starting to run out of ideas for this book, but don't worry I still have lots of ideas for the next one.

Percy's point of view

I did tease Thalia a bit about the capture the flag game, but I wasn't stupid enough to bug Artemis about it. I knew that if I did that, it wouldn't end well even if I'm the only guy that Artemis sees as a 'decent male.' Even though I didn't say anything about it to her she would occasionally shoot glares my way. I figured she would get past it eventually, I just wasn't sure how long it would take.

The rest of that summer seemed to go by in a blur, once Piper and her mother finally agreed on Piper and Jason's wedding arrangements, piper and Jason had their wedding. Leo was Jason's best man, Frank, Nico, and I was the groomsmen. Piper's maid of honor was Rachel. Hazel, Calypso, and her half-sister Lacey were the bridesmaids. One of Piper's youngest half-siblings was the flower girl.

The wedding was held in the mortal world, so her dad could give her away.  Although I think she didn't like having to do it, Aphrodite used her powers, so he wouldn't recognize her as the woman he had been with so many years before. Overall the wedding went well, and I think Piper and Jason were happy with how it had gone.

One day when I was visiting camp half-blood I was about to leave when I changed my mind and walked toward Thalia's tree. I was thinking about what could be done to restore the camp barriers. I patted Peleus on the head, and since he trusted me I managed to touch the trunk of the tree. As I did so I continued to puzzle over what could be done to unfreeze the tree. Just from placing my hands on the trunk I could tell how cold the tree was.

For whatever reason, I began to think about how Hestia can somehow bring warmth to basically any situation. As I was thinking about her I got a crazy idea. I didn't know if it would work, but it was worth a try, it was one more Idea than we had to begin with. I thought of how Hestia can give hope to those who have little. Since I was technically still her champion, although I rarely use those powers I might just be able to fix the tree.

If my idea doesn't work, well we'll just have to continue trying to come up with a solution. Despite how crazy it sounded even to me I tried the plan I had come up with. Just like I would give hope to someone else, I willed it to enter the frozen tree. Eventually, I stopped because I could tell that the barriers had been restored.

As crazy as my idea was, it had worked. I stepped away from the newly thawed pine, and I noticed that many of the campers and Chiron were walking toward the hill. They could probably sense that the barriers had been restored, and were confused about how they had been restored. I explained what I had done, and I called a meeting to tell the other gods. They were all surprised but pleased. Hestia apparently hadn't realized that her domain could be used in that way but was nonetheless pleased. July seemed to pass quickly, and peacefully.

I would fulfill my duties, and I also tried to visit Amber and Luke as often as I could. Let's just say that I had to make use of the fact that a god's conciseness is almost never in the same place a few times. What can I say, I'm a busy guy.

I could tell that it was still tough for anyone, including myself who had lost someone to the war, but we were all trying to do what we had to and keep going on with our lives. I knew we would never forget those we lost, but I also knew that eventually, it would get easier.

I knew that due to the fact that she is basically a goddess my mom would be having my new sibling much sooner than she would be if she was still mortal. I heard that Clarisse and Chris' new baby was born a month early, it was a girl, and although she was tiny she survived. Clarisse wanted to name her Silena, and Chris agreed.

Once August arrived I decided that it was time for me to bring up marrying Amber, I called a council meeting. Pretty much all the other gods were looking at me confused why I had called the meeting since we hadn't had many since the new prophecy was released. I think my dad may have guessed the purpose of the meeting before I told them. When I told them I got various reactions. From

"Aw come on cuz why?"

To "Who? An ancient law requires..."

I cut that last one off before they could finish, and I said "I am well aware of the law that says that I have to marry a goddess, but I was also informed of a loophole in the law that means that the Person I choose could be made a goddess,"

Before anyone could say anything I continued, "I know that we don't usually give immortality, much less godhood to someone who hasn't proven themselves worthy of it, however, I hope that you will be willing to make an exception just this once,"

The other gods began yelling, but what else is new?

Eventually, Athena managed to say over all the chaos, "Who do you wish to marry?"

After getting the others to shut up I replied, "She is a mortal, Amber Smith, the same mortal who I was with twelve years ago,"

After that statement, I went to go get her since she would need to be there if they agreed to make her a goddess. I went to her apartment and knocked on the door. She let me in, and I told the reason for my visit. I could tell she was nervous, so I used my powers to give her hope.

Before we left the apartment I kissed her, and then said, "I honestly don't care what they think, I'm going to marry you whether they like it or not. If they don't like it, well I'll find a way to make you a goddess myself, and they'll just have to deal with it because I don't think I could stand being away from you again,"

After I said that her expression brightened, and she looked a bit more hopeful. I returned to the throne room with her. Amber looked around the room, and bowed to the other gods. A vote was held, and much to both my and Amber's relief all but Ares and Dionysus voted for it. Unsurprisingly Dionysus was asleep again. Hermes elbowed him in order to wake him up, because we would need him in order to make Amber a goddess.

"What?" Dionysus asked in annoyance after Hermes woke him.

Hermes explained why he had woken him, and Dionysus still looked somewhat annoyed but he didn't bother complaining. I warned Amber that it would hurt when she was changing from a mortal to a goddess, but if she was worried she didn't show it. We began chanting in ancient Greek, and when the fates appeared to announce her domains, I wasn't really all that surprised by what they ended up being.  They announced that she was the goddess of Intelligence, determination, inner strength, and history. I was slightly surprised though when the fates spoke to her for a moment in a hushed tone that the rest of us couldn't hear.

I had always thought she was beautiful so becoming a goddess had only enhanced her beauty. It was decided that her sacred animal would be the panther, and since she wasn't yet trained with a weapon she got to choose one. She decided to learn to use a dagger. Her throne rose from the floor right beside mine. It was white with her symbols carved on it.

She would stay with Hestia until we were married, after that she would live with me. After the meeting ended everyone went their separate ways. Amber left with Hestia to get settled in, we were we giving her a few days to get used to being here before we started discussing the wedding. I was just happy that I would finally be able to have her by my side for the rest of my immortal life, both our immortal lives.

A little later that day I wasn't completely surprised when someone knocked on my door and it ended up being Amber. I let her in, she looked around a bit before I asked, "So what do you think?"

She replied, "I haven't seen it all yet, but so far Olympus is beautiful. There's a statue of you? You've never seemed like you'd want that,"

I sighed and said, "I didn't want it, but the others insisted since there are a lot of statues of them, they said I needed to be represented as well since I'm an Olympian. I argued against it, but they wouldn't listen,"

She looked slightly amused after I said that. That day we sat and talked like we hadn't in years, I'm sure that was one of the best days I'd had in a long time.
