A/N Warning, if you haven't read the first book, Percy Jackson the new god, since I edited it I suggest you reread the first chapter of that book before reading this. I mention something I added while editing that chapter in this chapter, and you may be confused if you don't go back and  reread that chapter.

Percy's Point of view

I said to Amber, "I have an idea. I was thinking of how we were when we first met, and I realized that I haven't really taken you out on a date since we got back together. We have pretty much just stayed here talking, and half the time it's about serious things. We haven't actually taken time just for ourselves."

"What do you have in mind?" she asked me cheering up a bit.

"You'll see." I replied smiling at her.

"When?" she asked

Slightly amused I said "How about now?"

"I should get changed." She said hurriedly.

I replied "No need, you don't have to be dressed up for where we're going. Besides, to me you are always beautiful no matter what you're wearing." There really wasn't any need for her to change considering what I had in mind, even though she was wearing a casual t shirt and shorts.

She smiled but didn't say anything. We stood, she took my hand, and I teleported us to the destination I had in mind.

"A beach? Should I have worn a bathing suit?" she asked when she saw where I had taken her.

I replied, "No need, you won't even have to get wet with me around."

I began leading her toward the water. As we waded out into the surf I made sure neither of us were wet. As we waded further out into the water I couldn't help but be reminded of the last demigod dream I had before I accepted godhood.

My thoughts must have shown on my face because Amber asked me, "What are you thinking about?"

I replied, "I never told you this before, but another thing that often happens to demigods, is that they have really vivid dreams, sometimes they show events that are currently taking place, events from the past, and sometimes they even show you things that haven't even happened yet."

Before she could ask any questions I continued I said, "The night before I accepted godhood I had one last demigod dream, I didn't understand it at the time, but I did later on. The dream showed  you and Luke, but obviously at the time I couldn't understand why I had seen you since I hadn't met you yet. The next day I guessed what I had seen after my appearance changed."

She replied "Wait so you're saying that you knew we would have a son during most of the time we were dating?"

I replied, "Well I didn't know for sure, I hadn't gotten the best view of you in the dream so I wasn't completely sure."

At that point I asked her, "Amber do you trust me?"

I know that may sound like a stupid question, but considering what I did next it was probably a good thing I asked.

Amber replied, "Of course, I agreed to marry you didn't I?"

Chuckling I said, "True."

After that I pulled her forward and our heads went under, but because of my powers neither of us were wet.

After that she was silent until she said, "Wait, how am I...?"

"Breathing underwater?" I said slightly amused

She nodded

Still slightly amused I said, "for the moment you have the ability to breathe underwater, it's only temporary though, you will lose it once we get out of the water. I'm guessing you will have the ability permanently once you marry me though."

I took her a bit further, and we reached a coral reef, I had to send most of the fish away to give us some privacy.

She said, "It's beautiful, but why didn't you ever do something like this before?"

I replied, "Back when we were dating the first time, I tried to keep the number of people who knew about our relationship to a minimum, my father knew I was dating a mortal, but he didn't know anything about you. If I had brought you here then he would have sensed us. Now he has met you so it doesn't matter anymore, besides even if my father hadn't sensed us you have no idea how much sea creatures gossip."

She nodded understanding, although she seemed slightly amused by the idea of marine animals gossiping.

I said, "for years my father has been trying to get me to have a palace built under the sea, until recently I was fine with living in my palace on Olympus, but more recently I have started to reconsider that."

"Why what's wrong with your current palace?" she asked.

Instead of answering her straight out I said, "You know how I told you that I was with one Person before you?"

She nodded, and asked, "She left you didn't she."

I nodded and continued, "she was also the architect of Olympus, which means she designed my palace. I'm getting tired of living in a palace designed by my ex, and once we're married you'll be living with me, and I doubt that you would want to live in it either."

She nodded understanding.

She asked me, "What were Luke and I doing in your dream?"

I replied, "You were at the beach, that's why bringing you here made me think of it. You and Luke were both in the water, you watched him as Luke swam in the water. I guessed that Luke looked to be around nine."

After I finished speaking she seemed to be thinking, perhaps trying to figure out when exactly the events I had seen took place.

She finally replied, "I can't tell you when exactly that happened, Luke has always liked the water so much it's hard to say which trip to the beach that was. Other people who saw how much he liked the water would sometimes make jokes about him being part fish."

I couldn't help but chuckle at that, and said, "Not quite."

She also chuckled and replied, "I know."

We both knew that that particular trait had come mainly from me, sure Amber liked the water as well but since some of my domains were sea related that had resulted in Luke being rather fond of the water. it's also why canoing had quickly become one of his favourite camp activities.

I said, "You know how much I love you right?"

She replied, "Yes but I love you more."

I said, "Not possible."

She said, "You'll see."

That was when our lips connected, I teleported us back to her Apartment before things got pretty heated, but we stopped before things went too far.

After a while I left Amber's apartment' but I decided to leave telling Luke about his mother possibly becoming a goddess until tomorrow. Little did I know, that the next day would be more eventful than I expected. I didn't do a whole lot the rest of that day though.

I just took care of my domains as usual, thought about what we could possibly do to restore Thalia's tree, trained with Athena, that was something that had started after I first became a god, I sometimes find myself getting bored, and since practicing my swordsmanship would distract me enough to get over my boredom, I asked Athena if she would train with me, she had agreed, and she was a very tough opponent, but then again so was I.

In most of the recent council meetings even piper argued, but she wasn't arguing with a rival like most of the others do she was arguing with her mother. They often argued about Piper's wedding plans, but piper disagreed with her mother about almost everything. I knew that Piper just wanted a small wedding, with the council, and some of her closest friends, but of course Aphrodite being Aphrodite, she disagreed. This just added to the racket that was the Olympian council. If I really needed them to shut up in order to discuss something important I usually can get them to. So sometimes I just let them argue. If we didn't have anything important to discuss, I could just tune them out.
