I was in shock from what had happened.

I was always a little better at judging people than most, so how could I have been so wrong.

Knox tried to cheer me up, but that was never her strong suit, more fit to Melody who was a little more concerned with our friend who was bleeding out. I felt like I had with the Libra light, I felt nothing. Knox was still talking, cussing out Caprin who had left us a few moments ago.

"And he stared at that patch of dirt near your feet like it was his lover. Which makes sense. Dirt can only be with dirt that godforsaken bleeding-" Knox continued to cuss.

I blankly looked at the patch she was talking about, and my eyes widened.

"Knox." I whispered, and said louder when she didn't hear me, "KNOX!" I yelled excitedly and turned my vision on and saw exactly what I had hoped. The patch was glowing equally black and white. Something under it was pure. I kneeled down and began to dig. Knox cocked her head to the side as if to ask "what in the heck are you doing?" but I shook my head and motioned for her to help me.

After a solid six inches of digging, I felt something smooth under my fingers. I grinned excitedly and prepared to pull it up when I saw a burst of bright white light from the corner of my eye that left me dazed and on the ground.

"Holy Heck, what was that?" I asked as Knox rushed over to where I could make out a stunned Blondie and an unconscious Melody. I shook the dizziness from my head, grabbed my prize, and hurried over. Taris blinked and looked at his arm which had fully healed with only a thin scar, then to Melody, then back to his arm, then back to Melody who was beginning to stir, and then to me.

"Did you know she could do that?" he asked, while gently picking up Melody and putting her against the wall next to him. I shook my head.

"Holy hell, these girls are something else." Semba muttered and snapped his fingers in front of Melody's face, "Hello? Anything alive in there?" he asked and Taris batted his hand away. Melody opened her eyes and blinked a couple times.

"Did it work?" she asked hoarsely and looked around until her eyes found Taris and pointed at him, "You look very not dead." she said, almost accusingly, to which he smiled.

"You don't look half bad yourself." he said, leaning over kissing her on the forehead, shocking all of us. Melody looked like she might pass out again.

"Em, guys. This is all very cute and all, but I think I have a plan." I said nervously, trying to ignore Knox making gagging noises behind me. Semba gestured for me to go on and I smiled

And held up a spoon.
