Chapter 2

--Devyn's POV--

What the actual fuck?! I must have heard wrong... but then I heard the drummer start off the song I immediately recognized.

Back in high school We used to take it slow

Red lipstick on High heel stilettos

Had a job downtown working the servo

Had me waiting in line couldn't even let go

'Cause I never wanna be that guy

Who doesn't even get a taste

No more having to chase

To win that prize

You're just a little bit out of my limit

It's been two years now

You haven't even seen the best of me

And in my mind now

I've been over this a thousand times

But it's almost over

Let's start over

"Devyn, please tell me I'm not so drunk that I've started hearing things."

"Omigosh it's them Alaska! It's 5SOS!" I squealed.

I mentally slapped my drunk ass self. Calum and Luke in a band together with Mikey and Ash! How in the hell was I so oblivious to the obvious clues?!

I watched as Calum began singing. Even though I was pissed at myself I couldn't help but fall into my usual trance that I'd fall into when ever I heard his beautiful voice.

"Holy shit, I really hope I remember this tomorrow!" Alaska said with a smile on her face.

"Please, God, tell me I'm not dreaming!" I said.

Before we could say anything else I realized the song had finished and they began to play another favorite of mine.

She's dropping out of school

Cuz she don't need the grades

The colors in her hair don't seem to fade

I get dressed up when I go out

But she gets dressed down

She's 17 I told her I'm 20

I couldn't take her out cuz moms got no money

It"s stuff like this that makes me wish

I could change some how

Sitting here at home, its obvious

She's so out of reach

And I'm finding it hard

Cuz she makes me feel, makes me feel

Like I try like I try like I'm trying too hard

I decided that I'd enjoy this and deal with the fact that I hadn't realized I just had a conversation with Calum freaking Hood. 

As I continued to watch Cal and Luke sing and Ashton bang his drums and Michael play the guitar I once again re entered a the trance of 5 Seconds of Summer.

After performing another three songs they finally announced that they were done and before they left off the small stage I noticed Calum seemed to be looking around for something... or someone. When he looked in my direction a small smile formed on his face. I figured it was nothing until he jumped off the stage and began walking in my direction.
