--Alaska's POV--

"Ouch!" I yelped as I stepped out of the car.

My new heels were cute, but choosing to break them in tonight was probably not a good idea.

My roommates got out of the car to join me and we adjusted ourselves, ready to head into The Grad.

"What time are your friends getting here?" Carolin asked impatiently.

"They should be here, I told them eleven..." I answered quietly.

Just then, I saw three guys across the parking lot. I recognized Michael's hair and giggled, starting toward them with Carolin, Rosie, and Heather right behind me.

"How old are they?" Heather whisper-yelled.

"They look twelve," Rosie huffed.

"So do you," I scoffed, rolling my eyes.

We reached the boys and as glad as I was to see Ashton, a thought occurred to me and I froze.

"Umm, how old are you guys again?" I asked weakly.

"Seventeen. You're a fan, you should know this," Michael teased.

I stiffened.

"Fuck," I muttered under my breath.

"What's wrong?" Luke asked worriedly.

"This place is eighteen and up," Carolin chimed in.

The boys looked at me as I sighed and tugged at the hem of my skirt.

"You girls go in," I told my roommates. "We'll do something else and I'll pick you up later."

"You sure?" Heather asked.

"Yeah, I'll text you guys later," I tried to muster a smile.

They went toward the entrance and I turned to the boys.

"What do you wanna do?" I asked, trying not to appear disappointed.

"We're going in there," Michael said simply.

"What?" I asked flatly.

"You mean we are," Ashton gestured at himself and I, smiling proudly. "I'm nineteen."

"Okay, you two go in," Michael said. "We're gonna find a way to get in there."

He looked at Luke who looked uneasy, but eventually he nodded in agreement.

"You sure?" Ashton looked a little skeptical.

"We'll figure something out," Luke assured us.

"Here," I said, giving Luke my keys. "If all else fails, take a drive and text us at 2."

Ashton raised an eyebrow at me.

"What?" I asked innocently. "I trust them. Now let's go!"

I grabbed Ashton and lead him to the door.

As soon as we got inside, the music gave me a rush of adrenaline. I scanned the room and began walking to my friends.

They smiled brightly as I introduced them to Ashton. It was obvious they were checking him out, but Ash merely looked around and bobbed his head to the beat.

"The other two are trying to find a way in here," I told them, feeling a bit guilty for leaving the boys.

"How old is he?" Rosie said, only loud enough for us girls to hear.

"Nineteen."

She frowned and all four of us laughed.

A familiar tune came on and Carolin clapped excitedly and rushed to the dance floor.
