--Devyn's POV--

As the day wore on, the sun began to descend. We were having a pretty good time by the time it was sunset, the weather started to cool down.

"Wanna go for a walk?" Calum asked.

"Me?" I asked shyly.

"Of course," he rolled his eyes and smiled.

I stood up and dusted the sand off, sliding my t-shirt on over my swimsuit. We began walking along the water in a comfortable silence.

"So... Are you having a nice time today?" He gave me a shy smile.

"Yeah. I'm glad you're here," I gazed into his eyes.

"Me too," He looked away smiling.

"Thanks for helping with my sister. It looks like she's actually enjoying herself," I said, looking back down the beach where Alaska and the boys were.

"It's no problem," he said. "I'm sorry if I seemed nosy."

We both giggled and I found myself reaching to hold his hand; he didn't stop me. We smiled at each other and kept walking.

"So what're you doing tonight?" He asked, his eyes looking straight ahead.

"I don't know yet. Hopefully not going out with Alaska," I chuckled nervously.

"Well..." He started. "Would you like to go out with me? This is me asking you, you know.. since yesterday I didn't really ask you..."

We both stopped walking and I let go of his hand; he looked at me causing me to look away.

"Are you sure?" I asked, picking at the skin around my fingernails.

"Yes... Why wouldn't I be?" He looked slightly hurt.

"Okay. I accept," I wasn't really sure how to respond.

My heart was pounding and my mind was racing. This was really happening; we'd hung out the night before but the way he'd just asked me out made me giddy.

I wanted to scream out in excitement but I settled for holding his hand and walking again.

--Calum's POV--

She said yes.

She agreed to a date with me.

I was happy yet sad at the same time; happy because I was really starting to have feelings for this girl, but sad because eventually we'd have to go our separate ways. A long distance relationship didn't seem likely, honestly I was scared to even try it.

When we left the beach it was after 6. The guys and I drove back to the hotel and I tried to get ready quickly.

"Where do ya think you're going?" Ashton smirked.

"Out," I replied quickly.

"Oh, alone?" Luke piped up.

"Can I come?" Michael asked.

I glared at their smug expressions.

"I hate you all," I mumbled.

"Come on, we're just teasing,"

Ashton nudged me.

"You guys better not ruin this for me," I warned.

"Chill out, mate," Michael laughed.

"Yeah, we're hanging out with Alaska tonight.. and her cute little friends," Luke winked.

"What?" I asked, nearly shouting.
