--Devyn's POV--
"IHOP?" Calum asked.
"Not again," Alaska mumbled.
"Applebee's?" Luke tried.
"No," Ashton whined.
"Olive Garden?" I suggested.
"Too fancy," Michael answered.
"I'm going to drive around downtown one more time," Ashton said sternly. "If you guys don't decide then were going to McDonalds!"
"Fine, fine!" Calum lifted his hands in surrender.
We hadn't been driving around long but everyone was so hungry it seemed like forever. Somehow we still had the energy to be picky.
"Park here," Alaska commanded.
She was sitting up front with Ashton while Calum and I sat in the middle row. Michael and Luke were still in the back row.
We all climbed out of the car and into the cool summer night. Alaska put some change in the meter and lead us to the corner.
Woodstock's was written above the entrance. A savory pizza aroma filled my nostrils as we walked in and I grew even more hungry.
"Why couldn't you think of this before?" I snapped.
Alaska just shrugged.
Once we got our pizzas, they were gone in minutes. We barely even spoke, all of us in a hurry to stuff our faces.
"I'm about to give birth to a food baby," Michael groaned as we sat around the table.
I laughed as I looked around the table. We had cleared out all the pizza and everyone looked so full.
"Ready to go?" Ashton asked after a few minutes.
"Yeah," Alaska smiled. "Let us just use the ladies room first."
She grabbed my arm and pulled me into the bathroom. She peeked around to make sure the stalls weren't occupied.
"So who is Matthew really?" She asked as she began to wash her hands.
"I told you, he's in my wow group," I said simply.
"Bull-fucking-shit," she responded, drying her hands.
"He started talking to me, like, the second day of activities," I explained. "He's really nice."
"So... you're banging him?" She smirked, raising an eyebrow.
"No!" I squeaked.
Dear, lord.
I felt my face flush as Alaska howled with laughter.
"I can tell by your reaction that you're telling the truth," she said as she calmed down.
I glared at her as she smoothed out her hair.
"I'm surprised Calum didn't throw a fit," she went on.
"Why would he?"
"Because it was pretty odd finding you and a boy alone," she said plainly.
"So? I'm single remember?" I said, wishing I was lying.
"Wait," her eyes widened. "You're not with Calum?"
I shook my head, looking at the floor.
"I assumed you were," she said more quietly.
"You know what happens when you assume..." I trailed off.
