Caroline's Pov

May was awake at two in the morning. Two in the morning. Right now, it was four am and May has been awake up for four hours which means she will be asleep soon. Klaus was sleeping in the armchair next to the bed, I quickly grabbed my phone and took a picture but soon enough I noticed my flash was on, to late. He jolted awake and I was smiling. He came over and I handed May over to him. I turned over to my side and quickly fell into a deep sleep.

Klaus's Pov
*11:30 am*

Caroline was faintly waking up, but May would be going down for a nap in about an hour. Everyone was here. Hope was sitting on my lap, with May on me to, watching tv in the room. Haley and Elijah were talking on another couch in the room, Kol and Freya were on their phones and rebekah was downstairs probably snacking on someone. Caroline was now fully awake and hungry, oh nice. "Nik, will you pretty please get me some chicken quesadillas from taco bell please" Caroline said while looking at me with her big puppy eyes. I grabbed my phone and texted Beks. Hey can you get some chicken quesadillas from taco bell please. I sent my text and immediately got something back. Ya but you owe me another doctor to eat. "Okay bek is going to taco bell for some food" I said to Caroline and she got excited. I got up and handed May to Caroline and she fed her. I sat back down and Hope got back on my lap. I was so happy being a dad but I knew it had to end. I can't believe I was leaving. My family has already packed our bags at home but Caroline doesn't know. We are leaving her here with Hope and May. I started tearing up but it quickly stopped when someone started talking. "Are you okay daddy" hope asked and everyone looked knowing we were leaving them here. "I'm fine" I said choking on my words.

It was about twelve when Beks came back with some chicken quesadillas and a pink lemonade. She handed it to her and gave me a stern but loving and concerning look and I nodded. We were going to leave at nine because that's the end of visiting hours. May was sleeping and I was thinking about how I wants going to see her until we got rid of Mikeal and Esther once and for all. It should be easy considering Haley and I are hybrids, Elijah is a vampire, Freya is a witch and Sam is a heretic. It was such a sad day for my whole family. "Hey Caroline do you think Hope can stay with us tonight" I asked Caroline and she smiled and nodded. I smiled and looked back at hope who was watching tv. The rest of my family was getting ready to go 'home' and I had already left a note for Caroline and set it next to her stand with out her knowing. I told her I was going to be back but it wasn't a lie. I will be back. In a while.
