The Funeral

Caroline's Pov

As I took my first step into the Salvatore boarding house, I could smell bourbon. Damon and his bourbon. Stefan and Damon offered to bring my stuff in and I carried Mays carseat in and Hope. I set the carseat on the couch and took May out and held her and fed her. Tomorrow was the funeral which means I'm going to need to go shopping with Elena today. "So where is my room" I asked and Damon told me to follow him. So I followed with Hope and May. When we got to a room which was next to Damon's and elenas, I could see some of the room was covered with stuff that I liked and then there was a room in the room that led to a nursery for the girls. I loved the room and Hope was excited because there was a lot of toys. "Also you got a letter from Klaus. He called us and told us what he was doing but he can't tell you or else you'll be in danger I was thinking wether to forgive the rest of the Mikealson's family or not. I might but not now. "Okay thanks Damon, I will read it later" I said as we walked into my bedroom. "Also, we already knew you were going to say yes for moving back up and before we left to see you, Elena went shopping for you" Damon said while showing me my walk in closet. It had rows and rows of shoes and clothes. There was buttons to switch rows. "Wow, thank you guys so much" I said and we walked into the nursery. There was a bassinet and crib for May and a little bed for Hope. There was boxes of toys and also a walk in closet. One side for May and one side for Hope. This was amazing. "I can't believe you guys did thesis for us. Especially you Damon" I said and gave him a hug. Everyone came up and they were so excited I was back.

The next day

It was only two in morning and May was crying and Hope had a nightmare. Being a mom is tiring. I changed May and then fed her until she fell asleep and I had Hope sleep with me.

It was now ten and everyone was up besides Hope. Stefan had May and I was about to take a shower. I never actually did read that note so maybe I will. I went over to the night stand and picked up the note and took it out.

Love, we are so sorry we left you and the girls. There is danger we need to get rid of in order for you to be safe. Give my love to Hope and May. I love you.

Omg what kind of danger. I took off my clothes and got into the shower. The warm Walter hitting against my skin made me tingle. I washed my hair and body and then got out of the shower. Since today was the funeral, I dressed in a short black dress and then invent to change the babies in something black.

After everyone was dressed and fed and changed, everyone loaded in the cars and we headed to the woods. They told me that there wad a tree stump where we put everything about her.

As we stepped out of the car and next to the stump, Elena and I were already crying. I put Mays carseat down on the ground so I didn't have to hold it forever. Elena was holding Hope, and she wanted to go to May, so Elena let her down and she gave me a huge hug. It was so sad and now I don't have the rest of my family. Damon came over and comforted her and then surprisingly, Stefan came over and comforted me.
