Every channel has the breaking news.
Over 50 people were killed today in Orlando.
When he heard the news his heart stopped. How could someone be so cruel as to target a safe haven for the LGBTQ community?
They were just trying to be free. And their lives were taken away for that.
He had so much sadness in his heart.
He locked his room and cried.
He prayed to god no matter how wrong it felt.
He prayed that all the lost souls found their way to heaven even though they were seen as a sin.
He mourned for all the friends and family that was lost.
He felt like a coward for not being able to stand up for his community.
He's still imprisoned in the closet and he felt ashamed.
Why can't he just be accepted for who he truly is without anyone judging him?
But now he doesn't think it's such a good idea to break free from the closet.
Fear was laced around his heart and he knew that he would have to wait.
He would have to wait until there was no fear clouding his judgment and where he didn't have to feel disgusting for wearing girl clothing.
And sadly that day may never come.
