Oliver came over,
I told him that I wanted to stop doing what we did cause it didn't feel right.
He was okay with it and told me all the best.
I looked at him walking out of my apartment.
I sighed and saw Anna walking into the kitchen "hello" she said
"Hi" I whispered
"What's up with you" she asked
"You want to long story of the short one?" I asked
She looked at me "long one" she sighed walking towards me
"Van came over yesterday" I whispered
"What?" She said
"Well, we talked and all that and promised each other that this was the last time we saw each other, for good, I broke up, well kinda, with Oliver and yeah, that's what happened" I explained "I'm happy about the Oliver part but the van part, you know I'm not happy-" she started but I cut her off
"I know I know, but it's okay, we are okay" I whispered she nodded "please do me a favor-" she whispered I shook my head "no Ann, I can't do that" I whispered
"Goodmorning" Zachary said
"Hello" I said standing up
I got ready for work and walked to the record shop with Anna.
We talked about life, and how cute Zachary and her were.
When we got in no one was there like usual.
"I want to go out and have a good time for one time" i sighed
"It always ends in tears doesn't it" Anna said I nodded
Time was going pretty slow, at the end of the day Anna got a call, Zachary asked if his friends could come over and have a party with us, she asked me if I was okay with it, I just simply nodded and closed the door
We walked home and saw Zachary sitting with all his friends on the couch.
5 guys in total.
"Hey love" Zach said as we walked in
"Hey" Anna said sitting next to him
"Lilly this is Austin, Cavan, James and tom" he said smiling I waved at them
"Is that your best mate?" The Austin guy asked Anna with a smile
She nodded
"Oh hello" he smiled
"Hi" I said
"Let's have a drink yeah?" Anna said
We talked and drank, Austin and I had a great conversation about music, "alright time to go" Cavan said
It was pretty late
"Yeah mate" Tom said
"It was a pleasure to talk with you love, goodnight" Austin said kissing my hand I nodded and gave him a smile "thank you, same goes to you" I said
I fell asleep but soon woke up,
I stood up and had a smoke outside on the balcony.
I grabbed my phone and looked trough my photos.
One of me and Anna, one of me and Austin, one of me and Anna again, and one of me and Zachary.
I smiled at them, but couldn't stop thinking about Van, I missed him, just as usual
I sighed and walked back inside as I finished my cigarette.
I lay in my bed and closed my eyes
I had no idea what I was doing with my life.
- two days later.
It was 7 in the evening, dark and rainy outside when I heard my phone go off.
"Ello?" I said
"Hello is this Lilly?" I heard a males voice say "yes I am Lilly" I answered
"Are you the daughter of Eva Kathleen?" He asked I swallowed "yes, yes I am" I said "I'm sorry to say this miss but we have terrible news, your mom died of a drug overdose, we can send you the papers and that, she currently stays in the northern sides hospital in chesterfield" he said
I'm pretty sure that he was talking more and more but my mind went blank, my mom died, "she stays there? Till when?" I asked "tomorrow night miss" he said "I'll be there" I whispered
"Thank you miss Kathleen, we'll see you then" he said
I hung up and lay on my bed
My mom died
Even though we didn't speak anymore cause of her addiction, it was the worse that could happen to her
I felt tears run down my cheeks
Anna wasn't home
Zachary wasn't home
Matty wasn't here
No one
I grabbed my coat and walked out of my apartment.
I got a taxi and walked down the street to an hotel,
I walked in and asked where he was staying, yes I was going to see Van.
I thanked the women and walked into the lift.
I waited.
When the doors opened I walked out and walked towards his room.
I sighed and knocked on the door.
"I'm coming" I heard him say
The door opened "Lilly" he whispered
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to- I just- no one was there-" I said but he cut me off "come on you must be freezing" he whispered
I walked in and sat down on the couch
"Lilly why are you here love?" He asked
"My mom died" I whispered
Tears rolled down my cheeks
Make up was all over my face
My hair was wet.
"Lilly- are you serious, I'm so sorry" he whispered he walked up to me and hugged me "Anna wasn't home and matty isn't here and all I could think about was you and I'm sorry I came here when I promised-" I started but he cut me off "don't ever apologize for comin' here love" he whispered in my ear
Van and I talked about my mom and how I was feelin for a bit
"so what are you going to do now?" He asked "she's in hospital in chesterfield, I'm doing to travel there tomorrow" I whispered he nodded "is Anna coming?" He asked I shook my head
"I want you to come" I whispered
"Ya sure Lilly? I mean Anna is pretty cl-" he started but I cut him off "I'm sure" I whispered
Van offered me to shower,
So I showered for a bit, he gave me some of his clothes.
We sat on the couch watching a show we both didn't know.
We drank thee
"I love you" I whispered
He looked at me
"I love you more" he said
I closed my eyes and buried my face in his chest.
When it was around 2am I said I needed to go home
"Are you sure?, you can stay here, call Anna and get your stuff at you apartment tomorrow" he asked
I shook my head "it's better that I'll sleep home" I whispered
"Alright call me when you change your mind yeah?" He asked I nodded
We walked towards the door
"Van?" I asked
"Yeah?" He said
"Thank you for everything, just lettin' me in and stuff, I couldn't do this without you" i said
He smiled and nodded
"No worries love, I'm glad you came here" he said
I nodded and hugged him
I smelled his sweater, I missed his smell.
I broke away and walked down the hall.
"Goodnight" he said "goodnight Van" I whispered
I woke up the next morning by Anna
"Goodmorning Lilly" she whispered
I opened my eyes
"Van's here" she whispered
I sat up slowly
"I heard about your mom, I'm so sorry Lilly" she whispered kissing my cheek
I nodded and hugged her "thank you" I whispered
She made some food for me
I heard the door open
"Goodmorning" Van said walking in slowly
I lightly smiled and him and put my hair in a messy bun
"How are you feelin?" He asked sitting on the end of my bed
"I don't know, confused" I whispered
He nodded "you looked nice" I whispered he chuckled looking at his clothes "thank you" he said
I got dressed and said by to Anna
We got on the train and waited to arrive in chesterfield.
It was 4pm when we arrived in chesterfield.
I sighed and hold van's hand.
He looked down and smiled at our hands.
I closed my eyes
He hugged me lightly and whispered a I love you
We stepped out of the train and walked towards the city getting in a taxi
I gave the man the directions and waited till me arrived.
After 20 minutes we arrived at the hospital
I sighed "I can't do this" I whispered
Van looked at me "yes you can, I'm here, I'm holdin ya hand, in here" he said I looked at him and nodded "thank you" I whispered
We walked in and asked where my mom was laying.
A women walked us to her room.
Outside the room I saw....my dad.
I walked towards him and hugged him.
"Lilly" he whispered "eh dad" I whispered we broke away from the hug, he looked at me "ya changed so much you" he said with a sigh
"You too" I whispered
"Who's this then" he asked looking at Van "ello I'm Van, pleasure to meet ya" he said shaking his hand my dad nodded "I'm Leo" he said
"I'm sorry about your wife" Van said
He nodded
"Two people are allowed" a women said after a while of waiting
"You go, I saw her the whole night" my dad said to Van and me
I nodded and grabbed van's hand
We walked in slowly
I looked at my mom
I felt tears roll down my cheek
I closed my eyes Van hugged me
"I can't believe she's gone" I whispered
I said goodbye to my mom and goodbye to my dad
Van and I were on our way home.
I sighed and looked at him
He had his eyes closed.
I smiled lightly at him
We were both exhausted.
After the ride, we arrived in Liverpool.
I totally forgot that I was going to London in 2 days.
We got a taxi and got to my apartment
We both stepped out and walked inside the building I was living in
As we stood infront of my apartment I looked at Van
"Thank you for coming with me, I coudn't do this without you honestly" I whispered "no worries love" he whispered I nodded
We talked for a bit until he said it was getting late "I should probably go" he whispered "Van?" I said
He turned around "yeah?" He asked
"Stay with me?" I asked
He looked at me "you sure?" He asked I nodded
