Chapter 2 - Niall

 As I finished singing I looked up at Tess. Her brown eyes glistened with tears and said "Thankyou Niall!" She kissed my cheek and got up to get my present. As i opened the box my jaw dropped and I looked up at Tess with awe. Inside the box was a charm bracelet. It sounds girly but I loved it. It was decorated with greens, blues and blacks. Hanging off the bracelet were several of my favourite charms that I thought I had lost over the years. They were charms of all my hobbies and things i liked. My favourite was the guitar charm because I still remember the day I got it and the day I lost it. It was a small silver acoustic guitar with little black strings, pegs and sound hole. It was simple but i loved it. When I lost it, I went crazy. I searched everywhere but I couldn't find it so I gave up. 

"Thankyou Tess!" I screeched as i kissed her on the cheek. She held my hand. I looked down at our hands, fingers entertwining.

"Look! Now we have matching bracelets!"

"I love you Tess"

"I love me too Niall. Everyone does."

"HEY!"

"I'm only joking. I love you too"

Our parents were chatting away until they called us to come to the backyard. It was time for the parents suprise for both of us. There in the middle sat a huge trampoline surrounded by lanterns and fairy lights. It was the most amazing and peaceful thing i have ever seen. On the trampoline were pillows and blankets. Tess and I looked at eachother with excitement. We were going to sleep on the trampoline under the stars in eachothers company. 

After several hours of laughing, singing, and talking Tess and I went to sleep.

"Happy birthday Tess"

"Happy birthday Niall"
