Chapter 21 - Tess

After a fun day at 2 theme parks we went back to the holiday house. Harry seemed off and Louis had no emotion showing on his face at all. Harry kept texting and frowning and Louis kept looking at over Harry's shoulder and looking away whilst tears would form and drop out of his eyes. We made eye contact and Louis usually fun and cheery eyes had gone dull. What is going on? Its like everything is falling apart for Louis. 

When we pulled up in the drive way, Louis was the first to run out of the car. Literally. He ran as soon as the car door opened. He ran into the house as each of us had a key. We all exchanged faces except for Harry who was angrily texting away. I stole a glance at the contacts name. Lucy. Who was Lucy?

I walked through the hallway, up the stairs and I searched for Louis as we hadn't chosen our bedroom yet. There were 3 Bedrooms. Louis was in the smallest which contained 3 beds, a dressing table and a balcony with a beautiful view. I knocked on the door. "Hey Louis" I said softly. "Can I come in?"

"Um... Sure. I guess". I sat down next to him and pulled him into a hug. He started sobbing on my shoulder. I am like the teddy bear of the group. I like being hugged and I am very huggable. "Louis? What's wrong? And don't say nothing because I've been noticing you've been texting someone a lot. So has Harry. Someone named Lucy?"

At the mention of her name he cringed and tears started to form in his already dull eyes. "Sh-she was m-my girl f-friend" he said in between sobs. 

"Louis? Shhhhh. It's okay. We don't need to talk about it"

"N-no. I need to t-tell someone"

"What about Harry?"

"I haven't told him" He wiped his tears away. "You understand different people in different ways. It makes you easy to talk to". He stated. "Lucy is...was my girld friend of one and a half years. She used to live in London but she moved to Australia for uni. For all that time...Well I actually don't know but..." He took a deep breath. I held and squeezed his had and patted his shoulder. "She cheated on me. And she has been for a while"

"Louis, I'm sorry. Did you tell Harry that she cheated on you?" He nodded in response. "Is he going to do something?"

He nodded and then said, "He's going to meet her at Starbucks and talk to her. Will you go with him. You know, to back him up. I think since I've told you, maybe you can...I don't know."

I knew what he was implying. "Lou, I will use my signature kick if I have to. Don't worry Lou. I'll tell Harry that I'm going with him tomorrow. We'll sort this out". He smiled and gave me a hug. "I know what will make you better. Come"

I led him downstairs and sat him down on the couch. I take this movie everywhere with me. Mean Girls. I put it in and went to gather the group. I made a special hot chocolate for Louis and I made tea for everyone else. I set out a few scotch buiscits on a tray among the tea and set it on the table. I made popcorn too. 

Iz and Cara helped bring everthing out. I went upstairs and grabbed pillows, blankets and more movies. We were going to have a movie night. It was 5 in the evening, afternoon tea time? I walked downstairs and threw the blankets and pillows at everyone. We all snuggled in on loveseats and couches. Liam, Cara, Zayn and Iz were all on the couch. Niall was sitting with Harry on a loveseat and I was snuggled up next to Louis on a loveseat to comfort him.

The movie started and we all quoted what we knew. Louis had a genuine smile on his face and that made me happy. When the movie ended we talked until we were starved. It was 7:15. TIME TO ORDER IN!

"Okay guys? What do we want for dinner?"

"PIZZA"

"CHINESE"

"PASTA"

"PIZZA!"

"CAN YOU HEAR ME TESS? I SAID PIIIIZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAA!" Louis shouted.

"YES I HEARD YOU LOUIS!"

I dialled pizza hut and ordered 3 meatlovers, 4 hawaiian, 1 supreme and 2 margarita. Boys could eat. They had a pizza each and Cara, Iz and I shared the 2 margaritas. While we were waiting for the pizzas to arrive, I went to busy myself in the kitchen. I cut up some cucumber and carrots and made some guacamole and hummus.

 As I placed all the food on the coffee table, everyone looked at me. "Healthy food?" asked Liam. "Good. We're already having fatty pizza. Good thinking Tess".

"I know. It's what I was thinking so people like Niall here wont get fat from eating too much pizza"

"Hey! I don't eat that...Well I do eat alot but...I have a fast metabolism. So I can eat and eat and I wont put on weight"

*Door bell*

I got up and Louis came with me. I paid for the pizzas and Louis and I brought them into the house. "Are you okay now Louis?"

"Yeah. But it will take time for me to fully recover"

"I know Lou". We set the pizza boxes down on the table and grabbed some plates. All the boys just grabbed the boc they ordered. Cara, Iz and I took 2 slices each and put them on our plates with a bit of dip and cucumbers and carrots. We didn't want to get fat.

The Loin King was playing and everyone was cyring except me. "Tess? Why aren't you crying?" asked Liam. 

"Yeah!. You don;t have a heart!" said Zayn.

I frowned at this comment and didn't reply. Louis noticed and squeezed one of my shoulders. "I do have a heart. I just don't cry in movies. Got a problem Zayn?" I threatened. After I had kicked Niall in the balls it seemed that all teh boys were intimidated by me when I threatened them. Yeah that's right. DON'T MESS WITH TESS!

After finishing the pizzas, carrot, cucumbers and dip we watched She's the Man. In the middle of the movie I felt a weight on my shoulder. I looked down to see Louis brown hair tickling my neck. I reached up and patted his head. "Thanks Tess" he whispered. Cara and Liam fell asleep on each other as did Iz and Zayn. Harry was snoring lightly and it was soon only Niall and I awake. 

"Niall? Are you awake?"

"Yeah"

"Should we put them to bed?"

"Yeah. If you can carry them"

"Okay"

I struggled to pick up Louis but I could just carry him to a bedroom. I put Harry with him and Niall said that he would sleep with them too. Niall Carried Liam and Zayn up to a separate bedroom. I carried Cara and Niall finally carried Iz to a bedroom where I would sleep too. 

After that, Niall hugged me and kissed me on the forehead. I returned the favour and said "goodnight Ni"
