Chapter 16 - Niall

Tess said we were all like brothers to her. But she didn't mention my name. Does that mean... No. She only kissed me. No biggie. Her lips were so soft. NIALL! Stop!

Things have been a little awkward between Harry and I. We used to be so close but now... Everytime we see eachother we just look away. I need to talk to him. "Harry? Can I talk to you?"

"Yeah...I guess so" I sat down next to him and looked him in the eye. His usual emerald, cheeky eyes were dull. I looked at him trying to express myself through my eyes but I don;t think it worked. "Haz...I'm sorry about Tess. It was just a kiss. I-I um... I'm sorry. I won't let a girl come between our friendship. Harry, you're the brother I never had. You make me feel like I'm the youngest. You take care of me and support me in every way and only now do I realise that I'm so greatful for it. So...I'm sorry Haz. Will you forgive me?"

He pulled me into a hug and he nuzzled his face into my neck. And said "It's okay Niall. I forgive you"

We stayed like that for a long time and when we pulled apart I saw that Harry had tears in his eyes. I hugged him again and whispered "I'm not gonna let anyone come between us. Not if your not okay with it"

As I read through all of Harry's texts i couldn't help but remember the hurt look on his face when I kissed Niall. I don't even know what came over me. Did I like Niall. If I did, I didn't want to ruin our friendship or Niall's friendship with any of the boys.

So I think I'm still going on tour with them. "Cara! Iz! Come on. We have to start packing!" I packed all my favourite shirts, shorts, pants, jumpers, jackets and skirts. I chucked in some underwear and socks. I chose my black vans, red vans, haviananas, my favourite sandals and my white chunk shoes from Windsor Smith and placed all those in my suit case. I gathered my favourite heavy makeup pallets and my favourite natural makeup pallets and put them into a cosmetics bag. I his my favourite shades of lipstick and bronzer and put those in too. Now all i needed was my bikini.

Where was it? I swear it disappears everytime I need it. I walked into Cara's room and asked "have you seen my Sea Folly bikini?"

"Nope. Go away. I need to pack"

Wow thanks for the great help" and I walked out. I walked into Izzy's room and as I was about to ask she said

"No, I haven't seen whatever your looking for"

"Thats wasn't what I was going to ask. I was going to ask... never mind. Keep packing". I walked out of the room and back into mine. I searched through my entire warbdrobe and after half an hour and finally came across one of my bikinis. It was an aqua coloured bikini top and bottom from Zimmerman. The top piece had a metal ring in the middle holding the two cups. It was simple but I loved it. 

As I checked that I had everything my phone started ringing. I looked at the caller ID. Harry... Why was he calling me. I didn't reply to his texts. I sighed and answered the call. 

"Hello?"

"Hey Tess. I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry for what happened yesterday. I truly apologise. Can we just forget it happened?"

"Um...sure Harry. Is everything okay between you and Niall? I don't want to get in the way of your friendship. What you lads have is special. Not everyone has what you 5 boys have"

"Yeah, everything is good between Niall and I. We're forgetting it ever happened. He wanted me to tell you something. Now, don't take this in the wrong way but Niall said that he's not gonna let you get between him and I. Not if I'm not okay with it. Does that make sense?"

"Yeah, suprisingly. I understand and as I said before, I don't want to get in between any of you. You're friend ship is special. It's kinda like Niall and I's friendship when we were young. Don't mess up and you'll be a big family for the rest of your life"

"Thanks Tess. Are you finished packing? We are planning to gather eveyone's luggage tomorrow"

"Umm..yeah I just need to gather all my toiletries and I'll be done. I'll check with Cara and Izzy. I'll call you back okay?"

"Okay. Take care Tess. I love you..." There was a long pause

"Bye Harry"

WELL! That was kinda awkward. I kind of don't want to go on tour anymore because I think I'll feel out of place. I don't want to get between any of the boys. Their friendship is a one in a lifetime thing. You can't have friends like that ever. I envy their friendship.

"Okay. Take care Tess. I love you..." the words flew out of my mouth before I could stop them. There was a long pause. I started to silently hit myself on the head and pull at my curls. Tears started to form in my eyes at the pain. Finall she spoke. 

"Bye Harry". Her words were so sincere. They hit my heart. Her words replayed in my head like a broken record, "Don't mess up and you'll be a big family for the rest of your life". She sounded hurt when she said that. She messed up...

I hope everything will be okay when we go on tour

ON THE PLANE

Cara, Iz and I all sat together on the private jet. PRIVATE JET! We could literally do anything we wanted on here. I was avoiding Harry and Niall. I think Harry noticed because when we arrived at the 'secret meeting place' Harry and Niall both yelled out my name and started running towards me. Instead of running into their arms like I usually would, I put my headphones on and blasted up the music and went to hug Liam then Zayn then Louis and finally Harry and Niall. I walked off with Cara and Iz.

That was unusual. Usually Tess would run to Harry and Niall and hug them first but she went to me Louis and Zayn and then to Harry and Niall. Tess is a lovely girl. She's sweet, funny and compassionate. But I have my eyes set on another girl.
