Chapter 14 - Niall

I lay on the trampoline in pain and I heard the approaching car engine. I lifted my head and saw Harry's black range rover comming towards us. I sighed in relief. I could go home and rest.

- Harry -

As I drove towards the theme park I saw Niall figure on the trampoline and his little blonde head lift up and look at my car. I got out of my car and ran over to Niall. Niall was the little brother I never had even though he is older than me. And so were the rest of the boys but I was always more protective of Niall than any of the lads. I hugged him and looked him in the eye and asked "Are you okay mate?"

"Y-yeah. Just can't walk". I chuckled and called out Tess' name. She soon came running towards us with her long dark brown hair cascading and flowing after her. Her belly button was showing as she was wearing a crop. I stared and Niall yelped out in pain. My attention went back to Niall. I lifted him up and carefully walked over to the car. I placed him in the back with Tess so he was lying down on Tess' lap. "You ready mate?" he nodded in return. "Tess, you have quite a kick to put Niall in this much pain" I chuckled. 

"Yeah... I did karate when I was young. I guess I still have my signature kick" she smiled at me sincerely through the mirror. She was beautiful. I wish I could hold her in my arms and call her mine. I can't explain it but...I really like her. 

- Tess -

I noticed Harry was still looking at me through the mirror so I looked out the window. It was kinda creepy, but if he takes care of Niall like a little brother than Harry's my friend too. The way Harry looked at Niall when he was on the trampoline really struck my heart. It was so sweet. I wish I could have a brother like that. 

I sighed really loudly without even knowing. "What's wrong Tess?"

"Hmm? Oh nothing. why would you ask?"

"Well, you did sigh really loudly so I was guessing you needed someone to talk to"

"That's sweet Harry. But really I'm fine"

"Okay. I was just checking"

Niall soft snores soon filled the car. I looked down at my best friend and started rearranging his hair. His soft dirty-blonde hair slipped through my fingers like water. I looked down at his closed eyes and then his lips. They looked so pink and soft. I just wanted to...

NO!

Niall is my best friend. I dont want to ruin our friend ship. I looked back up into the mirror and Harry was looking at me with an unreadable expression. Something flickered in his eyes. Or was I seeing things? I shook away the thought and looked out the window getting lost in my thoughts. 

- Niall -

I could feel someone playing with my hair. Was it Tess or Harry...Why would it be Harry? He like messing my hair up really roughly, not like what I was feeling. I fell back into a deep sleep. 

"Niall. Niall. Wake up. You're home". I woke up and looked out the window. I sighed in relief. All I wanted to do was go home and go to sleep on my bed. We leave for tour in 5 days. Hopefull my balls will heal by them. Tess still has her signature kick. 

I limped into my room with the help of Harry. "Horan. Do you want a shower?"

"Yes please"

"Get your stuff and I'll set it up". I love how protective and caring Harry was of me. He's the brother I never had. I would die for him as cheesy as it sounds. 

"Knock knock" Tess said as she walked into my room. I smiled at her. 

"Hey Tess"

"Niall, I'm so so so so so sorry for what happened at the theme park. It was a reflex I swear".

"Tess, I've told you. It's okay. Just calm down. I know it was a reflex because you wouldn't kick me. Right?"

"Right. Thanks Niall" and she kissed me on the cheek. "Oh hey Harry. What are you doing in here?"

"Oh, I'm just setting up Nialls shower"

"Awww. Thats cute. Do you do it all the time?"

"No. Only when he's hurt or when I'm feeling nice"

"Ok. Um... I'm going to make some tea. Who wants some"

"ME!" Harry and I shouted at the same time

"Woah! Calm down boys".

- Tess -

I walked out of the bathroom and into the kitchen. Tour started in 5 days and I was getting nervous and excited. I heard laughing coming from the living room and I went to investigate. There were Liam, Zayn, Louis, Cara and Izzy watching Modern Family. "Hey guys" I interrupted. 

"Hey Tess!" they all yelled and I was attacked with hugs. Okay guys. You can get off now."

"How was it?"

"Did you have fun?"

"What did you give Niall?"

I was being attacked  with questions and I was getting scared. I curled up into a small ball and screamed and yelled and I stayed like that until I heard Cara and Izzy's soothing voices.

"Hey Tess. It's okay.It's okay.It's okay"

"GUYS! MOVE BACK. CAN YOU NOT SEE WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO TESS?"

The boys moved back and I uncurled out of my ball. "Sorry Tess. Um... I don't know..." Liam started.

"What's wrong with you?" Louis screeched?

"Oh my god... Louis you can't just ask people that" Zayn said

"Guys it's okay. I don't know what's wrong with me. But there's something wron with me"

"Does Niall know?"

"Jmm..He might. I haven't told him. I'm afraid of what he might think of me. I know he accepts me in a way I;ve never experienced with anyone but him, Cara and Iz. I've been to the doctors and they don't know whats wrong with me". I didn't want to tell them the whole story and Cara and Iz realized as they looked at me telling me to tell them. But I didnt want to."So, who wants tea? I'm making tea for Niall, Harry and I."

They all looked at me strangely until Cara broke the silence. I think everyone wants tea. Come one Iz lets go help Tess.I;m so lucky to have such great friends.

"Why didn't you tell them Tess?"

"Yeah why didn'you tell them. Have you tpld Niall?"

"Told Niall what?" Niall asked as he limped into the kitchen.
