Chapter 3 - Niall

I woke up from the harsh sunlight shining in my eyes. I looked down at Tess and she was still dead asleep. That girl could sleep. Suddenly an idea came into my mind.

"WAKE UP TESS!" I yelled jumping on the trampoline making her bounce along with me.

"Niall! Go away! I want to sleep forever!" I stated. I sheilded myself with my what was straight dark brown hair.

"NO! TESS YOU NEED TO WAKE UP!"

"OKAY! I'M UP!"

After a satisfying breakfast of blueberry pancakes, Tess and I went to the park to play. We had a special spot where we would meet, play or talk. Today we were just going to talk because neither of us wanted to stard school. We would complain for hours and just sit.

After a few hours Tess' mother came out with a picnic basket.

'YAY! PICNIC!" yelled Tess

Tess and I shared many things, a birthday, a very special and meaningful friendship and the love for food. Both of us were pigs. We could eat and eat and stay the same weight. After the picnic we just talked and sang. I brought out my guitar and started playing while I listened to Tess sing. Even though we were 7 years old, she had a beautiful voice. We started complimenting eachother and we ended up talking about the X-factor and how we should enter when we were older.

We both promised eachother that we would enter the competition. And that's when everything fell apart.

 - Tess - 

Its been so many years since Niall and I had any form of communication. Many years ago Niall and I promised each other that we would enter the X-factor competition. Now I regret making that promise. We both made through to bootcamp but i got eliminated. So did Niall... Or so i thought. He and 4 other boys were called out and they were stood infront of the judges. I had no idea any of this was going on so I waited for Niall. But he never came. 

My new best friends, Cara and Izzy are crazy yet beautiful and loving. Cara has dirty blonde hair, the most mysterious green eyes fringed by long dark lashes and a small build. Izzy has long brown hair, the prettiest eyes consisting of blues, greens and golds. She has a small build but is very strong willed. These two girls I met at school but we only became best friends when Niall and I lost connection. 

Cara and Izzy are massive fans of a band called One Direction. I have no idea who they are only that they are a famous British/Irish boy band. Cara and Izzy share a birthday. When I first met them they were already best friends and it reminded me of Niall and I. At first I didn't want to meet them but now I realise that if i didn't meet them I would be a lost, sad 19 year old. 

I was in my car on the way to get some groceries for our flat and 104.1 2day FM announced that they were giving away 100 free One Direction tickets. I thought that it would be a great present for Cara and Izzy since their birthdays were coming up. So i listened and wrote down all the details.

When I got home I entered the competition and requested for 3 tickets. I knew if I got these tickets my friends would love me forever. 

2 WEEKS LATER

The ringing of my phone was killing me! Why don't iPhones have any decent ringtones? "Hello?"

"Hi there is this Tess Gray?"

"Yep"

"Congratulations! Your request for 3 free One Direction tickets is valid and they are being sent out to you and you should recieve them by tomorrow"

"Are you serious? Thankyou so much!"

"No problem, just make sure all the details are correct. Bye"

OH MY FLIPPING GODD! I got the tickets! "CARRRRAAAA! IZZZZYYY!" I loudly sing-songed.

"WHAAAAATT?" they mimicked

"Have you guys got anything special planned for your birthdays?"

"No, nothing special" said Cara

"Were only going out for lunch at Nandos" said Izzy

"Ok... Just wondering" I said with a hint of mischief in my voice. They both gave me strange looks but they shrugged it off. Their birthdays were in 2 days time and thats when I'm going to give them their presents. I can't wait to see their faces when they see the tickets!
