"You and Niall will be so cute as a couple" finished Izzy

"W-What?!" I choked?

"Well it is true" said Cara

"Have you seen they way you look at eachother?"

"Or the way you notice unnoticable things about eachother?"

"Well we have been like best friends our whole lives"

"Not including that period of time you lost connection"

I made a face at my best friends and hit them both. "Well at least think about it" they said. 

HOURS LATER

I'm planning on singing a song for Niall as his present. He sang to me on our 7th birthday. I have a guitar but I havent played in a while. Now I need to start writing a song. 

Circles, we're going in circles

Dizzy's all it makes us

We know where it takes us

We've been before

Closer, maybe looking closer

There's more to discover

Find out what went wrong

Without blaming each other

Think that we got more time

When we're falling behind

Gotta make up my mind

Or else we'll play, play, play all the same old games

And we take, take, take it for granted that we'll be the same

But we're making all the same mistakes

Wake up, we both need to wake up

Maybe if we face up to this

We can make it through this

Closer, maybe we'll be closer

Stronger than we were before, yeah

Make this something more, yeah

Think that we got more time

One more falling behind

Gotta make up our minds

Or else we'll play, play, play all the same old games

But we're making all the same mistakes

"Knock knock" said Niall. 

"Oh hey Niall. How long were you standing there for?"

"The whole time. You have an amazing voice. It's matured so much since I last heard it."

"Thanks". Oh crap... and cue the blush... Damnit

"You want me to tune your guitar?"

"Oh yes please. I haven't played in ages so it must be out of tune"

"Here, let me teach you". He touched my hand and what felt like an electric shock went up my arm and I quickly moved away. 

"Whats wrong?"

"Oh, nothing" I lied

"Tess, you're lying. I can tell". 

"Is it really that obvious?" was what Cara and Izzy said true?

"Yeah your eyes give it away. You have tiny gold fleck in those deep brown eyes. And when you lie those gold fleck change to an almost peachy colour"

"I have gold flecks? Yay!" I blushed again. Did he really notice the unnoticeable?

"There, all done" he said handing me my guitar

"Thanks Ni"

"No problem" and he kissed my forehead. He walked out of the room leaving me to find the guitar chords.

THE NEXT DAY AT 9 IN THE MORNING

"DONE!" I yelled as I had finally writted down the song, memorized it along with all the guitar chords. I hope Niall likes his present. I haven't really been singing or playing for a while and I'm a bit rusty.

AHHHH! Now the song is stuck in my head! "Hey lads, Cara, Izzy" I said eyeing the two girls. 

"Hey Tess. Wheres Niall?"

"I'm great thanks for asking"

"No seiously, where is he? We need to talk to him"

"Okay. Um... I'll go find him" I walked away feeling slightly hurt. I know that they're all keeping secrets. I'm going to find out what they are. 

- Niall -

I have told everyone what I'm going to do for Tess' and I's birthday and I told them not to tell Tess but to make her suspicious. And its working. As I made some final payments and agreements Harry was keeping me updated on Tess.

"She's definitely suspicious" said Harry. I chuckled. "So hows it going with the thing?"

"Oh it's good. I just made a visit to a rental company so I can rent the biggest one they have"

"Haha. Sounds good mate. I gotta run. I have a feeling Tess knows something and I might need to keep her distracted"

"Bye! Keep her distracted mate!"
