Amelia finished up school, and met her friends in the hall.

Adam's sister, Daria sat beside Amelia on the bench. Daria shared the icy blue eyes, but her hair was blonde.

Adam walked up, "Sorry guys, teacher had to talk to me."

Amelia looked up from her and Daria's conversation, "Is everything okay?"

Adam nodded, "Just wanted me to tell my dad something."

Daria smirked, "Daddy's little message boy!" Adam sat on the other side of Amelia, "Mommy's little deliverer, yeah, I saw you take that box to our classroom's teacher!"

Daria began to reach over toward Adam but Amelia stood up, "See you guys tomorrow."

Daria stood up, "You aren't going into the woods tonight, are you?" she asked curiously, but also worriedly.

Amelia looked back with a smirk and disappeared out into the streets. All the kids packed into the bus.

Amelia gripped her backpack and darted off into the woods.

The sun hit the floor of the woods, but it was scattered due to the overhead trees.

Amelia heard something behind her, "Daria?" she halted.

Amelia looked around, "Hello?" She said louder. She heard a twig break. She shook her head, 'Nope.' she thought to herself and ran off. The /thing/ behind her began running.

Every once in awhile she'd look behind her and see something black zip through the bush on the side of the path.

She looked behind her, and she didn't see the tree root growing out into the path.

She yelled as her face hit the into the mud. Her backpack landed right beside a bush. She also didn't see the thing following her.

She got up and dusted herself off, letting out a relief sigh as the thing had seemingly left.

She started toward her backpack. She heard a dark, deep, and sinister growl.

Amelia stumbled back and fell onto her back. Soon some red eyes appeared. It was large, and something stepped forward.

"What the-" she cut herself off as her body froze in fear. It was a black furred wolf. It wasn't a normal wolf. It was twice as large, and muscular.

Amelia kicked up dust as she tried to push herself back. As the dust hit the wolf's eyes it looked away and snarled.

Amelia stopped kicking and frowned, she stood up. She snatched her backpack as she darted off.

She didn't dare to look back. She stopped at her house's back door. She looked back toward the woods, and breathed heavily as she thought to herself, 'T-They were right, s-something's out there.'

Amelia opened the door and quickly walked up to her room.

She done her homework, and went into the living room.

Her father sneaked up on her and put his hand on her shoulder. She looked back with a gasp. Her father chuckled, "Jumpy?"

Amelia plastered a fake smile on her face, "Y-yeah. Sorry... Long day at school."

Amelia turned back to look out the window, and stare at the woods.

Her father noticed her stare and said, "Amelia, do you want to go to town?" he asked with a slight smirk.

Amelia looked at him and nodded. Garth gave her a kiss on the forehead, "Are you okay?"

Amelia nodded, and folded her arms, she looked back out the window, leaving her father to stare at her back, "Why do I always want to be out there?" she asked.

Garth looked toward the floor, and walked off. Amelia got no reply, and looked toward where her father stood. He was gone.

Amelia frowned and grabbed her red jacket. She darted out.
