Blue Dress

Amelia looked at the clock, it was 9:39 exactly.

   The door opened and she sprung off the bed, "Blade?" she asked anxious.

  Blade closed it, "Ready?" he asked.

  Amelia started to reply, "Ye-" Amelia studied Blade. He was in a nice fitted black suit.

  Blade raised his brow, "What?" Amelia shrugged and smiled.

  Amelia followed him into the living room. "Dad, Mom!" Amelia yelled and rushed into Garth's open arms. Amelia then shuffled into Trudy's.

   Amelia then stepped back, "You have to help them, Lacey is-"

  Suddenly a man slammed the door open, "Lacey is sending her greetings." the large man said.

   Darren walked over. Darren growled, and looked to Garth, "Garth, we need you."

  Trudy yelled, "Amelia run!"

  Amelia struggled to leave her family, but soon fear gripped her as the man swung his fist at Darren. Darren ducked, and sent his fist into the man's stomach.

  Amelia rushed upstairs, and bumped into Penny. Penny sighed relieved, "Good, you're alive. Listen, everyone is downstairs in the bunkers. Just in case of an invasion. We can sneak you out the back."

  Amelia nodded, "How?"

  Penny wrapped her fingers around Amelia's wrist. Penny replied, "I don't know."

  Penny started pulling her toward Darren's office. She entered and looked around.

  Penny silently closed the door, and looked around, "There's a secret passage from here to the outside. Start searching."

  Amelia scoffed, "This was the plan?"

  Penny began searching, "You got anything better?" Amelia gritted her teeth as she didn't.

  Amelia began pulling books off the shelf, and thought after pulling the magic one a passage would open like in the movies.

  Penny done the same, as she was pulling books. Penny then went to rummaging under a desk.

  She was searching for a button. Amelia frowned and started helping at the desk. She found a picture of Darren with Garth and Trudy. Trudy was starting to get a bump in the picture.

  Amelia was snapped out of her gaze as Penny stood up. Penny sighed, "We'll be here forever."

   Amelia asked, "Did Darren talk about us?"

  Penny tilted her head, "About who?"

  Amelia pointed to the picture, "Us. Me, my family."

  Penny swiped her finger on the frame, "He always talked about Garth like a brother. He talked about you like a niece."

  Amelia smiled slightly at the feeling of being in a pack. She gazed at the picture and an idea struck. She pulled the frame down and a bookshelf shifted.

  Penny gasped, "Whoa." she said and looked to Amelia amazed.

   Penny soon smiled, and rushed off toward the secret passage. Amelia followed.
 
   Penny was walking down a stone small hallway. It was lit by torches every few feet.

   The fire from the torches created dim light. Amelia halted, and Penny stopped, as she didn't hear footsteps behind her.

   Amelia said, "Can you hear any footsteps?" Penny shook her head. Amelia continued, "How about smell any other person?"

  Penny sniffed, "Well, I can't. All I smell is whatever they lit the fire's with." she sneezed.

   Amelia frowned, "These were lit recently. Someone was here."
 
   Penny frowned, "We should run."

  Amelia felt odd, but followed Penny to the end.  As Amelia and Penny walked out, their eyes took a second to adjust to the sun. Penny looked over to a small chest, and she dug into it. She pulled out a shirt and pants in Amelia's size. Amelia grabbed it confusedly.

  Penny said, "They'll smell your pack on the clothes your wearing."

   Amelia quickly changed behind a bush. She walked out from it, and saw Penny on the ground. She dropped her blue dress on the ground beside Penny.

   Amelia stood up and looked around. As she turned, a fist slammed into her.

  Everything went black.

   The pack fought off the many men, and Blade began searching for Amelia. Darren, Garth, Blade, and a few random pack members started searching for Amelia and Penny.

  They went into Darren's office, and saw the open secret passage.

  Blade went to the end, and saw Penny. Blade swooped down and Garth and Darren shook Penny. After Penny awoke, Blade looked over and picked up the blue dress.

  He stood up and looked around. Garth stood up, "What's that?" he asked.

  Blade turned to reveal what he had, and he replied, "Her blue dress."
