Amelia looked toward the floor. Blade folded his arms, "You ready to go home?"

Amelia looked up and nodded, "This is all a dream."

Blade shook his head, "Drink this." Amelia looked to a cup he grabbed off a nearby table, "No way!"

Blade extended it further, "It wasn't a request, it was a order."

Amelia looked to the drink, "No."

Blade shrugged, "Fine, you're not going home."

Amelia grabbed the drink, "This cat doesn't like water." she said and gulped it down.

Amelia threw the small cup past Blade's head. It was clear she was aiming at his head. Blade's lightning reflexes allowed him to catch it as it was three inches beside his head.

She growled, human like, "You drugged me." she said and her vision began to blur.

He rolled his eyes, "Duh," he said and grabbed her arm as she started to fall over, "I don't offer drinks to strangers."

Amelia frowned and stumbled to a nearby chair. She passed out.

She awoke to cold hands under her knees, and under her shoulders. Her vision was somewhat out of it.

Her vision restored and she looked up to the guy who was carrying her like a bride. She blinked and then realized who it was, "Blade?" she looked around. It was her room, and it was pitch black outside.

Blade dropped her into her bed. She quickly said, "Wait!" she then continued as he looked back at her, his glowing red eyes sent shivers down her spine, "Where's my parents?"

Blade replied, "Asleep, I knocked them out. Now, when they asked what happened, tell them you got back from the woods and that they were asleep."

Amelia nodded and snuggled up under her covers, "Goodnight." Amelia said.

Blade halted before opening the door, "What?" he asked coldly.

Amelia gestured to a fish tank, "My fish. I always say goodnight to him. His name-"

Blade frowned, as he thought the goodnight was for him, although he quickly realized that he shouldn't care. He cut her off, "I really don't care." he said and silently crept out and closed the door.

The next morning Amelia was woken by her mother, "Amelia! You're late for school!"

Amelia eyes opened and she opened the door. She was in the same clothes as yesterday, "What?"

Her mother studied her clothing, "You're late... What happened last night? When did you get home?"

Amelia straightened her upset expression into a false smile, "You were asleep when I got home."

   Her mother laughed, "Don't lie."

Amelia shrugged, "It's true. Can I stay home today?" she asked rushed.

Her mother shook her head, "Get ready."

Amelia scavenged through her clothes and got a red sweater and yoga pants.

She grabbed her jacket and backpack. She stuffed her face with food and talked to her parents some.

She walked the dirt path, as she went to school. She halted as she looked over toward the bushes. Blade stepped out, "Hey there, Scaredy Cat."

Amelia ignored him and continued walking, "Leave me alone!" she started to run.

Blade walked up and grabbed her shoulder, "Listen," Amelia spun around on her heels, "I will not /listen/, now leave me alone!"

   Blade huffed, "Huma-"

Amelia stopped him, "Go ahead, say it. Human, I get it! Being human isn't a bad thing!"

Blade smirked, "You're not human." Amelia rolled her eyes, "How desperate are you to get me to stop?"

Blade laughed, "Not enough to lie. Are you afraid to hear the truth?"

Amelia kept walking, "The truth is you better be gone when I walk back to my house."

Blade chuckled as Amelia got further away, and he called out, "What will a Scaredy Cat do?"

Amelia turned around to storm up and punch him in the nose. When she turned around he was gone.

Amelia sat on a bench after school. Amelia looked over, "Daria stay out of the woods."

Daria replied, "I'm not crazy enough to get near it."

Amelia replied warningly, "Seriously Daria, it's dangerous."

Daria's brow creased, "Did you see something?"

Amelia adverted her gaze to a locker, "No." she replied vaguely. Daria punched her shoulder, "You did!" Amelia hushed her, "I didn't".

Daria grinned, "What'd you see?" Amelia grabbed her water, and as she flexed her stomach muscles, she flinched in pain. She drank her water and sat it on the table.

Daria's eyes widened, "Amelia! What happened?"

Amelia gripped her stomach, "I'm fine Daria. Really."

Daria frowned, and lifted up her shirt enough to see a large bandage wrapped around her stomach wounds.

   Daria gasped, "What happened Amelia?"

Amelia stood up, "See you tomorrow Daria." She darted off toward he dirt path.

   She yelled out, "Blade!"

Blade appeared, "Changed your mind Scaredy Cat?" Amelia shook her head, "My stomach still hurts, can I tell my parents about it? I need help."

   Blade studied her, "Sure."

  Amelia nodded, "Tell them everything?"

Blade smirked, "Yeah." Amelia knew something was up.

Amelia didn't bother to ask and walked on toward her house.
