Amelia blushed as he scanned her. He noticed this, and looked to Darren.

Darren walked up, "What's she doing here?" Blade replied, "She wants to know about rogues."

Amelia chimed in, "Not anymore. The one I met was enough."

Darren's eyes flickered, "Blade, where did she meet one?"

Blade calmly replied, "In our territory. Don't worry, I sent her on her way."

   Darren repeated, "//her//?"

Blade forced a obviously fake smile, "Yes, a //her//. It was-"

Suddenly, Darren pushed Amelia gently over toward the door. He marched up to Blade, and gestured for him to follow.

Blade and Darren walked off without another word.

Penny walked up, as it stated on her name tag. She greeted Amelia with a hand shake. She retracted her arm, "Amelia, right?"

Penny's black wavy hair bunched perfectly on her shoulders. Her red eyes were still a bit new to Amelia.

Amelia looked away from Penny's red eyes. Penny noticed this and said, "You'll get used to it. I'm delta. I'm third in command, behind Darren and Blade. I'm also in charge of new guys. Have they added you to the pack?"

Amelia laughed a bit at Penny's cluelessness. Amelia shook her head, "I'm human."

Penny shrugged, "You don't know that for sure."

Amelia fiddled with her fingers nervously, "I've always felt a connection to the woods."

Penny waved her finger, "See that! A wolf lives inside you, but only you can unleash it. It's been caged for so long it's started to disappear."

Amelia nodded, and halted, asking, "Can you make it go away?"

Penny nodded, "If you stop using your wolf senses, and changing into a wolf... The wolf will stop, too."

Amelia sighed and eyes drifted toward the floor, "Maybe my wolf has been too tamed."

Penny put her hands on her hips, and raised a scolding brow, "You can't tame a wolf, you can only trap it."

Amelia's eyes looked up, and smiled, "You're very wise, for someone my age. How does aging work with werewolves?"

Penny shrugged, "After you hit thirty you start aging slowly. Well, appearance, anyways." Penny suddenly slightly laughed, "It's been awhile since I heard werewolf."

Amelia's brow perked, "I guess humans don't come here often."

Penny nodded, "Well, no. I'm called that a lot by- well that's not important, but by someone's who has two werewolf parents... I mean, it's just odd they never told you."

Amelia suddenly remembered she needed to pack. She slightly laughed, but clearly it was forced.

Penny placed her hand on Amelia's shoulder, "Is everything okay?"

Amelia nodded, "Tell me everything about wolves. Everything."

Penny nodded and began, "Alright, well, a werewolf pack has different ranks. As you already know, Darren is alpha. I'm delta. As a werewolf you-"

Amelia interrupted, "Sorry, but my parents. How does Darren know them?"

Penny shrugged, "I have no clue what you're talking about." she said this, clearly lying.

   Amelia scoffed, "You do!"

  Penny frowned, "I'm sorry, Amelia..."

Darren walked up, "Excuse me," he said to Penny.

   "Why?" Penny asked.

Darren looked into Penny's eyes and didn't say a word. Suddenly, Penny left.

Amelia was confused, "Uh, staring contest?" she asked. Darren chuckled.

Darren then answered, "No, once you're wolf side comes, you can read other wolf's thoughts."

   Amelia replied, "//if//."

Darren gestured for Amelia to follow, "Don't think like that."

Amelia followed him to his office. Amelia looked around, and then sat in the chair.

Darren frowned, "Asking about your father, are you?"

   Darren sat down, "And mother?"

Amelia nodded nervously, "Where's Blade? Is he okay? Lacey didn't get information out of him."

Darren waved his hand dismissively, "No, he's fine. He just wanted to know what we'd do with you."

Amelia smiled, "He's worried about me?"

Darren shook his head, "No, dear. He was worried about himself. He didn't want to babysit you."

Amelia spun her swivel chair to the side, "I know that."

Darren ignored her obvious lie, "Anyways, you want to know the truth?"

Amelia exclaimed, "Yes, I feel like everything I ever known is a lie."

Darren folded his arms together, "That's a little dramatic, don't you think?"

Amelia shrugged, "How do you know my father?"

Darren looked at the window, "We grew up together."

   Amelia gasped, "Really?"

Darren looked over, "He was going to be alpha, until he left. My father then gave the alpha role to me."

Amelia was in awe, "Why did he leave?" Darren looked back, "You."

Amelia blinked, "M-Me? What about me?"

Darren intertwined his fingers, "We were in a fight with Lacey's father, a war. The best fighter was Garth, your father. Trudy got pregnant, and a werewolf pregnancy is sped up. Trudy didn't want apart of the war, well, she didn't want you apart of the war. Garth told me one day that he was leaving to the human world, and I said if he leaves he could never come back."

Amelia creased his brow, "You want to talk to him now, though, why?"

Darren looked off a bit, "No reason. Call your father."

  Amelia was confused, "Why?"

Darren handed her a phone, "We have to talk war."
