Amelia followed Blade through the maze. Amelia sighed, "We'll never get out."

Suddenly, Darren and Garth rounded a corner and almost collided with Amelia and Blade.

Garth hugged Amelia, "You're alright!" he said happily.

  Amelia chuckled, "I'm breathing."

Blade frowned, "Sorry, but we need to keep moving."

Amelia looked to Blade. Amelia nodded, and they followed Blade out of the building.

Amelia rushed up the stairs, and halted at the door. She looked back, seeing a lot of guards.

Amelia looked to Blade, "We'll have to loose them in the woods!"

Blade folded his arms, "Okay. Come on."

Amelia followed them. It was dark, and Amelia couldn't see.

Blade looked back at the struggling Amelia, "I guess your night vision hasn't come in yet."

Amelia sighed, "What if it doesn't?"

Everyone halted. Blade found a small cleared spot. Blade made a small fire, and put logs around the fire.

Garth sat down, as did Darren. Blade and Amelia sat on the same log.

Amelia warmed her hands, "I knew you'd come."

  Blade smiled, "Really?"

Amelia nodded, "I don't know why. I could just feel it."

Blade locked his hands with hers, "I had a feeling you were okay."

Amelia leaned her head onto his shoulder, "I've always had a connection with the woods. I don't anymore, now I feel a connection to yo-"

Blade placed his hands on Amelia's face. He leaned in and their lips slowly embraced each other.

Amelia's arms wrapped around Blade's neck, and his hands wrapped around her waist.

Amelia pulled back, and Blade halted. Amelia smiled, "Is it one?"

  Blade checked his watch, "Yup."

They started to continue, but Garth and Darren came back with some fire wood.

Amelia shifted and looked at them. They stocked the fire wood and Garth rested his body onto the ground.

Darren put his body on the ground and his arm under his head as a pillow.

Blade got onto the ground, and pushed his back against the log. Amelia rested beside Blade. She rested her head on his arm.

"Goodnight." she whispered. Blade smiled, "Goodnight."

Amelia awoke to the sun shining in her eyes. She felt wonderful. The fire had dwindled out, Darren and Garth was standing up. The two yawned.

Amelia had her fingers intertwined with Blade's.

Blade had his arm thrown around her waist.

She slowly got up. Garth had prepared some fish.

Blade and Amelia ate, as Garth and Darren had already.

Amelia sighed, "Ready to go home?"

Everyone nodded. They all started home. Amelia saw and overheard Garth and Darren chatting about how to defeat Lacey.

Amelia and Blade were walking side-by-side.

A while of walking later, everyone was getting bored. Suddenly, Amelia felt a sharp pain in her stomach.

Amelia looked over, seeing a man with a sword, she backed up.

She clutched her stomach and blood slowly rolled down.

Amelia clenched her fist, and swung at the guard.

The guard ducked, and Amelia stumbled back. She sat onto a rock. She looked up to Blade.

Garth and Darren started attacking the guard, and Blade picked Amelia up bridal style.

Amelia was frowning, "You need to help them."

Blade started toward the pack den faster, "No, I need to help you."

Amelia started to pass out. Blade bounced over a log, and when he returned his eyes down to Amelia, she was unconscious.
