Amelia stopped at the edge of the woods. She stepped into the darkness, and made her way to the creek.
She skipped a rock, and watched a frog. She felt eyes on her.
Amelia froze, and pulled out the small army knife that was stowed away in her pocket.
Amelia spun around. There stood the large black wolf. It began circling her.
She screamed, and dropped her knife. The wolf's ears perked to her scream. The wolf stepped forward, and Amelia backed up.
Amelia looked to the knife, and the wolf looked to the knife. Amelia slid on her stomach and grabbed it.
She began to stab the wolf, and she struck it in the stomach. The wolf darted back, and let out what seemed to be an annoyed growl.
Amelia extended the knife, "Come at me." The wolf stared at Amelia. Amelia saw the wolf start forward, "Nice wolf." she said and backed up. She underestimated how brave she'd be.
The wolf watched her and it stepped on a twig. The twig broke, and Amelia was startled. She jabbed knife forward.
She felt pain in her stomach and the wolf's teeth sunk in. She was thrusted into the icy water of the creek.
Her vision blurred as water engulfed it.

She coughed up water, and she was in a stranger's bed. She shivered as she was still cold.
She looks around, and the stone walls weren't welcoming. The wooden doors seemed cold. The wooden dresser and one window made it seem like a cell.
She headed toward one door and opened it. A bathroom. She closed it and opened the other door.
She saw a boy, who she estimated to be a year older than her.
He had one foot on the wall, as he leaned on it. His arms were folded.
He was wearing a black leather jacket. He was taller than Amelia and he gave off a presence of darkness. His black hair was spiked up, and it was only a inch. He had red tips on his hair.
He was looking at the floor, "Good morning." he greeted.
Amelia froze at the door frame. She couldn't move or speak.
The guy looked up. His blood red eyes made her body feel like melting, as his eyes seemed to look into her soul. He smirked at her speechlessness, and he asked sarcastically, "What's wrong? Wolf got your tongue?"
