Amelia awoke. All she could remember was passing out after a man stabbed her stomach.
She looked around, and recognized the room. It was her room in the castle.
Amelia was in the bed, and she threw the covers off her.
She stood up, and looked around. She started to the door but Blade came in.
His eyes widened, "You're up. You need to stay in bed."He chucked his keys onto the nearby dresser and helped the wobbly Amelia back to her bed. Amelia was still weak from the wound.
She sat down with Blade beside her. She asked, "Where's my parents?"
Blade looked at the door, "With Darren. Plotting to overthrow Lacey."
Amelia sighed, "I'm not part wolf. I can't even save myself from-"
Blade hushed her, "Don't talk like that. It's fine. You freaked out, so what? You're new to this."
Amelia shook her head, "I overreacted. I threw a punch before I knew what was happening."Blade stood up, "You're kidding. You saved me. You're doing great."
Amelia hugged her knees, "I don't think I am." She said this, filled with anxiety. She just couldn't handle everything that was happening.
She looked at the floor, and was continuing to hug her knees.
Blade frowned, "I won't act like I know what you're going through. I won't say, it's all in your head."
Amelia looked up. She was confused. Blade sat down, and let her head rest on his shoulder, and he replied, "I don't know how you feel. I'll be here for you, though. I won't say it's all in your head, because it's in your heart, and I can't change your heart. I'll say this, though, you saved me. You saved us. You took on a million responsibilities and didn't let it bother you, and now... Everything has caught up. You can cry, you can hide. It takes one thing to make you snap. It might not be that specific thing, but it's just all the actions before that. I can't understand what you feel because, every action is different. Everyone is different. Everyone, though, has a breaking point. Just don't let your breaking point set your limits. Now that your limits have been broken, you can set new one's."Amelia had been crying. Tears flowed down her cheeks. He continued, "Let it out. Scream, throw things, but just know... You'll get though this."
Amelia just sat there. She thought about everything that had happened. She sniffled. Blade asked, "Are you okay, now?"
Amelia thought for a second, "It's not so much that I'm afraid of them, and what they can do..."
She put her legs off the bed, and continued, "I'm afraid of what I'll do."
Blade's brow furrowed, "Huh?"
Amelia sighed, "My wolf. I thought it'd come out. I was upset, but it didn't appear. What does that mean?"
Blade couldn't answer, and so they sat there in silence. Amelia leaned her head onto Blade. Blade sighed, "I can't answer that, Amelia. I'm sorry."
Amelia already knew he wouldn't, but it made her feel better knowing he'd try.
Garth stepped in, "Amelia you're okay!"
Amelia nodded, she rubbed her tears off her cheeks, "Oh! How long have I been out?"
Blade looked to a nearby clock, "It's 3:00."
Amelia shrugged, "For awhile, I guess." she didn't know the exact time she passed out.
Garth studied her, "Are you sure you're okay?"
Amelia nodded, "Just hungry."
Blade slowly arose, "Trudy made some fresh pancakes."
Amelia crossed the room, and flickered off the light. She followed her family downstairs, and Darren was sitting alone in the corner.
Darren, after seeing everyone, shuffled over and said, "My office," he motioned for them to follow, "now!"
Amelia grabbed a pancake, and followed behind.

Darren opened the door, Garth, and Blade, let Amelia sit.
Amelia ate her pancakes, and Blade asked, "What's wrong, Sir?"
Darren was cracking his knuckles as he leaned his elbows on the desk, and at the question, his head snapped up. Blade tilted his head at Darren's agitated behavior.
Darren frowned, "Sorry, Blade. Lacey delivered a message. She has something planned, and I don't know what."
Amelia's finished her pancake and threw away the paper plate. Amelia then asked, "Uh, where's the message?"
She expected a owl with a note attached, all she could think about were the movies with werewolves.
Darren clicked a button on the phone, and a message began to play.
Amelia was shocked by how normal a message was in "werewolf world".Darren played it, and Lacey could be pictured smirking by the tone of her voice, "Look at you guys, escaping and such! You think that's such a defeat? Are you serious? That's just level one, the easiest! Get ready for level two."
