Amelia used her knees as a pillow for Blade's head. He leaned back, "That really hurts." He looked at his wound.
Amelia chuckled as tears rolled down her cheeks, "Don't worry, you'll be okay."
Blade whispered, and wiped her tears away, "Before I die," he coughed out.
Amelia shook her head, "No, don't think like that!"
Blade continued, "my name isn't Blade. It's a nickname. Only Darren knew my real name, and now he's gone. I want someone at my funeral to know my name. It's Gladius."
Amelia chuckled as her tears flowed, "Blade sounds better."
Lacey sent her foot it Amelia's head, and Amelia hit the ground with a buzzing sound in her ear.
Lacey chuckled, "You won't be alive for his funeral."
Amelia clenched her fist around the sword, and Lacey didn't notice this.
Amelia swung it up, and sliced Lacey's thigh. Lacey jumped back, startled, and her eyes panned down. She noticed the wound and looked to Amelia.
Amelia got to her feet, and looked over. Blade was struggling to drag himself away from the water that was rising.
The water was at the feet of Amelia and Lacey. It splashed against their legs. Amelia screamed in anger, "You killed my father!"
Lacey huffed, "Our father."
Amelia shook her head, "He was the only one who understood me. He understood my calling."
Lacey chuckled, "Now you're alone."
Amelia scowled, "Not as alone as you!"
Lacey charged forward, and Amelia blocked her attack. The two swords crashed together, and Amelia swiftly moved her sword and her body. Lacey's sword slashed into the ground.
Amelia chuckled and began to move forward, but Lacey sliced Amelia's side.
Amelia stumbled back, and growled. An actual growl, it was deep and rumbled throughout her chest.
Lacey growled, it was deep, but didn't seem as annoyed.
Amelia felt something inside her, it was struggling.
Lacey stumbled back in shock, "Oh my-"
Amelia had changed right before Lacey's eyes. Amelia had orange fur. Strangely, her eyes weren't red. They were pitch black.
Amelia let out a snarl, and Lacey jumped back. Lacey quickly changed into her wolf, and the two sat there in silence as they stared into each other's eyes.
Finally, Amelia rammed forward and slashed Lacey's face with her long sharp claws.
Amelia didn't take anytime before running. She was atop the peer. The sky was suddenly grey, and the rain began storming down in a raging downpour.
Amelia was struggling to ignore the wind. Lacey held her head down, trying to block the wind.
Amelia growled, and so did Lacey.
Amelia pounced, and pinned Lacey down under her paws.Lacey was struggling, and Amelia growled happily. Vines sprouted and wrapped around Lacey's chest, tying her to the peer.
The wind blew like a monster was trying to escape. The rain drenched the two.
Amelia and Lacey turned back into human, and Amelia had her hands gripping Lacey's shirt.
Amelia had one foot on Lacey's stomach, while the other was on the wooden floor of the peer. Amelia was leaning down to grip Lacey's shirt.
Amelia snarled, and glanced over. She noticed the waves were tossing every way.
Amelia had a new found strength, and the vines broke as Amelia held Lacey up by her shirt and smirked, "Go fish."
Amelia threw Lacey over the guardrail, and into the water.
She watched Lacey's hand sink after struggling against the waves.
