;emily;

I feel my mouth dry as I spot my father. Why is he here? How did he find me? Oh god, what if he's here to kill me for calling the police? What if he hurts everyone here?

He looks almost exactly the same, only he's slightly aged. He's got scruff on his face which is the only major difference. The age he's put on didn't stop me from realizing its him. I drop my mouth open, going to speak.

"Oh my god, Emily," he breathes quietly as he examines me. My eyes immediately well up with tears at the sight of him. Why is he fucking here? Things were okay. They weren't perfect, but they were much better than any other point in my life.

"Leave," I spit quietly, narrowing my eyes. That only causes some tears to spill over however.

"Emily please-"

"No, I never want to see you again. Leave," I demand, choking. That doesn't sound very threatening Emily, good fucking job.

Out of the corner of my eye I see four worried heads peaking around the corner of the kitchen, getting closer to me. Liz moved out of the way the second I got here and is currently standing behind, watching confusedly.

"Emily, I'm your father. Please just- lets talk." he pleads, me shaking my head.

I feel someone move me over lightly, strong bicep brushing against my fat arm. It's Calum, standing as almost a shield it seems, next to me for protection.

"She said to leave." I hear Luke speak from behind with grit teeth. My father looks very shocked at the behavior. I just wish he would leave. Maybe I'm dreaming, oh god, please let me be dreaming. I don't want to deal with this.

"I'm sorry," my father breathes out, defeated.

My mind doesn't even have time to process what's happening as Calum pushes me behind him and steps forward. When he breaks out of the front doorway, his arm is ripped back quickly as his muscles strain and tense, veins popping out as his fist makes contact with my fathers nose.

I gasp, watching my father, who was on the edge of the steps, fall backward. Calum steps back into the house and goes to shut the door, but Liz immediately grabs it and steps outside, yelling for Andrew.

"Calum!" I shout in shock, seeing him shrug sheepishly, you can tell that's not what he meant to happen, but he's definitely not sorry about it.

That wasn't what I wanted, I just wanted him to leave. Now I feel imcredibly bad, watching intently as Andrew helps him up and they bring him inside. My breathing picks up as I begin to process whats happened in the last ten minutes, all while watching blood flow from my fathers nose. Dammit, why did Calum have to do that? I just wanted him to leave.

"Why are you helping that scumbag?" I hear Michael scoff. Just looking at the scene around and knowing my father is here makes me cry again. He knows where I live now.

"Because Calum just punched him down the stairs." Andrew narrows his eyes over toward Calum who's standing awkwardly next to me.

"We're kind of dealing with this right now, can one of you take Emily out and calm her down?" Liz says annoyedly. The boys eyes widen once they realize I'm crying, escorting me toward the living room.

On our way out I hear Andrew call them dumbasses, which they are indeed.

"Emily," Ashton says quietly, placing a hand on my shoulder which I immediately shrug off. My choking sobs are the only noise in here, besides the faint voices in the kitchen. I feel another hand placed on me, trying to be calming, but I curl myself into a ball and shrug it off once again.
