A/N: y'all in for a ride

;emily;

"We'll be back Monday morning. We're trusting you with the credit card; have fun, but not too much. No ones allowed over except the boys. Drink tons of water! You're allowed to go to the mall and stuff, use the credit card, but do not go crazy. Yo-"

"I think they get it, honey." Andrew kisses Liz's forehead.

"We do. You've left me alone for a weekend before. I promise we'll be fine, mum. Go enjoy your anniversary." Luke chuckles.

Their anniversary was tomorrow, which was Saturday, so they were leaving this morning. It had been almost two weeks since I passed out, and there hadn't been another incident since. At first everyone was kind of overbearing but as time passed they realized I was okay. I really appreciated feeling cared for over all though.

"Have a good day at school you two. We'll see you Monday." They wave as they grab their bags and go, leaving Luke and I sitting in the kitchen to eat breakfast before walking.

Sadly, we started school again.

I guess the thought of staying home forever wasn't exactly practical, but Christmas break an everything passed so fast. I spent half of it at Calum's house, sure, but I didn't think it was fair. Jack and Ben came over for a few days around Christmas which was nice.

They were also here for New Years, which was a very fun night. They brought champagne, and convinced parents to let the boys and I have a glass. Technically Ashton's old enough to drink on his own, but everyone's family's were over that night.

As Luke and I approached the school, we saw the boys waiting for us. Calum perked up and waved as we hurried to them.

"So, the party."

"It's still on. We just said bye to our parents," Luke grinned.

"Ashton's gonna take the credit card and get the booze after school, you and Michael are gonna set things up and hide valuables and breakables, and Emily and I will go get food." Calum rambled and swung an arm around my shoulder. "People have heard about it but we'll remind them throughout the day."

Okay, yeah, we were throwing a party. We had been planning in secrecy since Liz and Andrew brought up that their anniversary, and tonight was the night.

Ashton was just gonna get us some money from an ATM after school and we'd all part ways.

"Emily, you talk to people too, yeah?" Ashton grins at me.

"Uh- me?" I squeaked. They want me to talk to people and tell them about the party? I don't talk to anyone other than them anymore, since I had been exiled from my old group of friends.

"Yes, you. We need everyone to know." Michael rolled his eyes and nudged me lightly. "Just let them know that tonight is the party at the Hemmings house."

"But I-"

"People know who you are, Em." Luke sighs. They do?

"Everyone's been talking about you since we went to the dance. And then my profile picture... they all kind of knew you were here and living with Luke, but nobody acknowledged it until we all started to hang out more. Your old friends kinda kept you invisible." Calum informs me.
