A/N: if you don't realize, this is like four days after the last chapter

;emily;

A FaceTime call at one is what I wake up to.

I'd been home for a few days now, and it was really nice to be back. Liz and Andrew were extremely excited that I was here again with them. Things were getting better.

But, last night I was up until 6am. I know it was stupid but I couldn't sleep, so I gave up trying until the sun came up. So, when my phone started buzzing against my face with an obnoxiously loud FaceTime ringtone I was a little upset.

"Em!" Calum cheers. "Where's your face?" I let out a groan, rolling over and sitting up before holding the phone up so he could see me. "Did I wake you up? It's 1:13!" I just give him a shrug and yawn as I attempt to fix the rats nest I call hair, watching him walk around his house looking for something. "I can't find my NASA shirt," the tan boy pouts. "My mum hasn't seen it in the laundry and it's not in my room. Where could it beeee?"

I listen to his whining as I get up, taking him to the bathroom with me so I can wash my face and run a wet brush through my hair.

"Oh well. Anyway, you should come over for dinner tonight! My family misses you, and I really miss you. I haven't seen you in days! And we have much more fun alone."   Calum giggles and props me up on something in his room, backing up to look for clothes. Oh, he's only wearing boxers. I shake my thoughts and decide to get dressed myself. "So, you should come over and hangout. Like, now."

"I'll just have to ask Liz."

I tell him I'll be right back, jogging down the stairs and finding Liz in the kitchen having a small snack. Christmas was the other day, so Ben and Jack are with her.

Liz agrees almost immediately, knowing that lately Calum and I have been hanging out more. Plus, she likes Calum since she's known him for years. Ben and Jack wiggle their eyebrows at me as I walk away, going to tell Calum.

When I see him, he's already dressed and fixing his floppy hair. A few bracelets line his wrist, and he smiles when he sees me. His smile quickly turns to excited yipping like a chihuahua, but I find it endearing.

I go to pick out clothes to get dressed, one shirt I find making me raise my eyebrows.

"Uh, Cal," I giggle.

"You have my NASA shirt! That explains so much, it's been missing since you left. It must've been by all of your things when we packed." He sighs. "I'd tell you to keep it but I happen to really like that shirt. Wear it today and you can exchange it for one of my others while you're over here. I'll buy you your own! We can be twinsies!"

"You don't have to do that, Cal." I shake my head. He doesn't need to let me keep any of his shirts or buy me anything either.

"I want to, Em." Calum grins. "I'm gonna go to the store and buy one right now. I'll just buy myself a new one, and you can keep that one. I like when you wear my clothes."

I sigh and give up with him, knowing that he won't let me win. Calum is stubborn. It's much easier to just give in to what he wants than fight him; he always wins. I've learned that the hard way. So, I step out of frame and slip into his shirt and a pair of black distressed jeans.

When I look back at the screen, Calum is grinning and wearing headphones while jogging down the street. He's such a fucking dork.

We talk until he walks into the store, where he pretends to be normal and not look like he's talking to himself. But, I smirk to myself at the idea and bring the phone up close to my face so the microphone picks it up more when I yell.
