Cybil ended up coming out after the whole scene, and I decided to get the hell out of dodge as soon as I could. All of the girls, Cybil, Dakota, and Canon pile out after me, questioning me.
"Woah, slow down there, Flash. What's wrong?" Cybil asks, making Canon turn to look at her. Cybil meets Canon's gaze.
Finally, after a moment of straight-faced silence, Canon breaks out into a grin and nods, saying, "I like you." She then turns to me. "I'm with Blondie on this one. What's peeing on your parade?" I stare at the two girls for a minute and sigh.
"Nothing, that just seemed like a really intense family matter. Let's head back to Warped." We all start walking in silence.
It's quiet for all of three minutes before Cybil stops us. She turns to me. "Can I borrow your phone?" I stare at her questioningly, but hand my prescious iPhone 6 gold phone that I got last week over. She then pulls her purse to her frame and pulls a wire out of it, plugging it in. And that's when I notice that the radio design on the small purse is an actual radio.
With that, we walk the rest of the way to the venue jamming to 'Never Lose Your Flames', by Issues.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*
I see Andy first, due to his freakishly tallness, and decide to pay him back for his 'tude. I take a running start, and leaping into his back with a battle cry, wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck lightly, but strong enough not to fall. A small string of cusses flow from his mouth as he stumbles, but his hands fly to my thighs to hold onto me so I don't fall.
Once he straightens up, he starts to tickle me on the legs. It just so happens that I'm pretty much ticklish everywhere, so I shriek and drop like a rock. Elijah catches me bridal style, almost like he'd been expecting it.
Andy turns around and sees who caught me, quickly trying to take me out of Elijah's arms. Only, Elijah doesn't let go. The stand there, the same height, playing tug-a-war with me for a good three minutes before Jinxx rescues me, pulling me out of both of their grips.
I smile at my Prince Charming and kiss him on the cheek, skipping back over to the girls. "Let's go visit some bands!"
We quickly spot Tonight Alive, and I nearly die. Jenna McDougall looks up from the small leather journal she was writing in when we walk up, and smiles widely. "Hi! It's so lovely to meet you! Are you guys touring too?"
"Actually we're just keeping Black Veil Brides company while they're on tour," Kaylee says with a smile. Jenna smiles widely.
"So you're the Blade Andy talks so much about," she exclaims, pointing at Kaylee. Kaylee laughs and shakes her head, pointing at me. I give a shy wave in Jenna's direction. My biggest focus is a small child across the venue, crying. He's frantically looking around, stumbling and clutching a small frayed teddy bear to his chest.
"Will you excuse me for one moment?" I murmur, walking over to the boy. His sobs turn into hiccups as he is no longer able to control himself. I kneel down in front of him while looks at me warily. "Hi, what's your name?" I ask him softly.
He cowers away from me slightly, and doesn't answer. I sigh. "I'm not going to hurt you. Are you lost? I just want to help you find your parents." He studies me for a few minutes, analyzing whether or not I'm going to try and kidnap him probably. I give him a reassuring smile, and hold out my hand.
Suddenly, he starts sobbing again and crashes into me full force, his arms burying themselves into my hair that he accidentally undid. Damn it. My hair is supper slippery. It can't hold a curl to save its life unless I use hairspray heavily before and after I curl it. No wonder the braids just fell apart. Wait! Focus, Blade!
I simply wrap my arms around him and run his back slightly, figuring that it'll soothe him. He pulls back a little bit. I smile at him, and he smiles back sadly, his brilliant green eyes red and puffy. "What's your name, sweetie?" I ask gently, trying not to upset him further.
"B-Benaiah." I stand up with him in my arms, and walk back over to the group. They're staring at me quietly.
"Hey guys, this is Benaiah, he's lost. I'm going to help him find his parents."
"I'd love to help," Jenna offers, and I smile widely. What? It's not everyday you get to spend some time with the Rock version of wonder woman. I nod, and the other girls agree as well. Benaiah shyly hides in my hair, his small fingers playing with the hair at the nape of my neck.
"Where'd you see your parents last, Benaiah?" He lets out a long breath.
"My mommy was talking to the man with the drawings on his face and neck. He also had only half his head with long hair." I have to bite my lip to hold in my 'awe' at his innocence. I have a vague idea of who he's talking about, and head towards the FIR tent. Andy and Jake are already there. I walk up to them shyly.
"I-I'msorry to interrupt, but R-Ronnie? Have you seen this boy's mother? He's lost." I see Andy staring at me with adoration and pride, and I feel the blush creep it's way onto my cheeks. Jake is staring at Cybil, giving her a once over. Ronnie Radke smiles at the boy and I, and answers.
"Sure! She was here like five minutes ago! She went to go see Set It Off!" I smile appreciatively and walk towards the tent. By now Benaiah is ecstatic, walking beside me, knowing that he will finally be reunited with his mother. "Wait! Here!" I turn to see Ronnie with a shirt, the Just Like You CD, and the wolf iron on patch. I watch with my jaw dropped as he hands them to me. "I really admire what you're doing. I'd want someone to do this for me if it were Willow missing," Ronnia says with a chuckle. I simply stare at one of my idols, holding the items he gave me to my chest with one hand. Is he talking to me?!
Andy laughs at Ronnie's expression, and decides to comfort the poor tattooed boy. "Don't worry, it was like this for the first three minutes of our first conversation too. She's really sweet and wild once to get to know her." I continue to open and close like a fish, trying to figure out what to say. All that escapes my mouth is a nervous laugh. I manage a small, "thanks."
Ronnie smiles at the sound of my voice. "No Problem! Oh, do you need a bag?" He quickly runs to the FIR tent before scampering back with one of his TEI class bags. I let him slip the things he gave me I to the draw string. After that, both he and Andy let me walk away to take Benaiah to his Mom, the girls quickly following me to tease me.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*
So far, the girls and I have met Falling In Reverse, Set It Off (which, by the way, Cody is literally more attractive in person), Tonight Alive, Sleeping With Sirens, Atreyu, Crown The Empire, Palaye Royale, and we're on our way to see Bring Me The Horizon. (A/N: I know that BMTH isn't on this tour this year, but whatever it's a fan fic haha) I feel something twist in my stomach when I spot Oliver Sykes, his short wavy hair just reaching his almost golden-greenish eyes. (Yup. Goin' back to 2013 Oli) his eyes suddenly find mine, and his lips suddenly turn up in a smile. Uh, sorry, he's looking at who? Not me, no no no. Maybe if I walk a little left--his eyes travel with me. Maybe to the right? His eyes still travel in my direction. Maybe left again-- this time Canon stops me.
"Sweetie, stop tilting your head! you're walking into traffic again." With that she fixes the angle my head is at and directs me forward, towards the smirking Oliver. He greets all of the girls, a small blunt hello, charming smile, the whole package, but his eyes never once leave mine. Oh, holy honey sticks, I feel like I'm hypnotized! I've never seen something so perfec---no!! Snap out of it, Blade! What about Andy?!
Right as I think that, I spin to search for him, only to see him smiling down at a familiar looking brunette girl, his hands on her waist.
As his lips connect to hers, I feel my heart break into millions of pieces.
Exactly right. What about Andy?
