9 - Sweet Threat

ZANDER'S POV

Hindi ko na namalayan na gabi na pala dahil sa tuloy-tuloy na pag-uusap namin about random stuffs.

They told me to stay and I called my parents to ask permission and they agreed.

We also decided to have a group study tomorrow, suggested by the girls and declined by the boys.

Pero, sa huli napapayag pa rin nila kami. Well, we have no choice.

We decided to go to a buffet instead of cooking for dinner. Right now, papunta na kami sa mga sasakyan namin.

Since kami lang nila Darius ang may dalang kotse, kami na lang ang mag da-drive papunta sa buffet.

Me and the boys are all in the car. Si Drake and Adam ay sasakay sa kotse ni Darius. Hindi pa namin alam kung

saan sasakay sila Kate dahil hindi pa sila tapos mag ayos.

Ganoon ba talaga ang girls? Matagal mag ayos?

My stomach is growling. I looked outside and I finally saw the girls walking out of the house dressed like they're heading

in a luxurious party.

Syempre, sumakay si Khlea and Rheema sa kotse ko si Lia naman sa kotse ni Darius.

Naiwan na lang si Kate sa labas na nag-iisip pa kung saan siya sasakay. Gusto niyang sumakay sa kotse ko dahil nandito si

Rheema. Pero, gusto niya rin sumakay sa kotse ni Darius dahil nandoon si Lia.

I hopped off from the car to tell her that she can hop in my car but Darius also approached her.

The 3 of us looked at each other.

"Kate, wanna ride in my car?" I asked her and she opened her mouth to reply but,

"Mukhang masikip na sa kotse mo Zander. Sa kotse ko na lang dude." Darius said and I shook my head.

"Bro, it's okay. Kaya pa ng kotse ko yan. Kate, let's go?"

"We have to make it equal dude. You already have 4 people plus you in your car. I only have 3 plus Kate and I."

I'm actually starting to get pissed off. I don't even know why I'm competing with Darius. Why do I feel so pissed off? Weird

"Umm, guys.. siguro mag ta-taxi na lang ako. Mauna na kayo." Kate said.

"Delikado ng sumakay sa mga taxi ngayon, Kate." Darius said and she sighed.

"Ah... um, k-kay Zander na lang siguro ako sasakay.. mukha namang kaya pa e." She finally made her decision and I smiled at her.

"So, let's go Kate?" I held her hand and dragged her towards my car.

AUTHOR'S POV

Darius' jaw just dropped. He blinked his eyes multiple times watching Kate with Zander.

"Wow. Talaga, Kate? Tch! Bahala kayo sa buhay niyo." He whispered habang sinisipa ang gulong ng kotse niya.

Pumasak na siya sa kotse niya and they started driving towards the buffet.

When they arrived at the buffet,

agad silang nag labasan sa kotse and they headed inside the buffet. Agad silang nag hanap ng table at ng pagkain.

Kate is so excited and she walked towards Darius.

"Uy, Darius! Halika samahan mo ko, kuha tayo ng pagkain!" She said and his eyes furrowed.

"Tss! Kay Zander ka na lang mag pasama! Gusto mo naman sa kaniya diba?" Naglakad siya palayo at natawa na lang si Kate sa asal ni Darius

Sinundan niya si Darius. "Galit ka ba?"

"Doon ka nga. Nawawalan ako ng ganang kumain e."

"Kasi naman e! Ba't ka ba galit? Wait, nagseselos ka ba? Hahahaha. Nagseselos siya oh!"

"Isa pa talaga Eloisa Kate." He shook his head. Kumuha siya ng plato at kumuha rin si Kate.

Kumuha na siya ng mga pagkain pero inaasar pa rin siya ni Kate.

"Sige, anong gagawin mo, ha?" Kate said.

"Hahalikan kita. Bakit?" Darius placed his face inches apart her face and she blushed.
