18 - JK (Jake+Khlea)

KHLEA'S POV

I'm so bored. Ugh.

Mag hapon lang akong nakahiga dito sa higaan ko. Wala namang assignments or projects.

Haysst. Ba't kasi busy sila lahat e? Si Lia kasama si Adam sa community service nila. Si Kate naman kasama si Zander sa art school niya. Si Rheema, malamang natutulog yun sa mga oras na ganito.

Sigh. Anong gagawin ko? Ayoko naman makipag-usap kay Kuya dahil wala naman siyang sense kausap.

Parehas lang rin kami na walang ginagawa.

I stood up from my bed. Tignan ko kaya kung anong ginagawa ng tsonggo na yun?

I walked towards his room and slowly opened the door.

Nakita ko siyang natutulog ng mahimbing at naghihilik pa.

I went out and walked over to the living room when the doorbell rang.

I opened the door and napalaki ang mata ko sa nakita ko. Si Jake.

"Nasan si Darius?" He asked.

"Tulog...Bakit?" My hands and knees are shaking and I can feel shivers all over my body just by looking at his fierce and wild eyes.

"Tulog? Ugh. May kailangan pa naman kaming bilhin." He scratched his head.

I stayed quiet and he suddenly stared at me.

I looked down and kept my mouth shut. "Hoy." I looked up to him.

"Come with me." He ordered and I furrowed my brows. "W-Why me?" I asked.

"Well, wala si Zander e? I have no choice either." He held my hand and dragged me outside.

"Wait!" I shouted but, he won't listen. Pinapasok niya ko sa kotse niya. Ugh. I have no choice. I give up.

"Blame your brother dahil natulog siya ng mahimbing." He said while driving.

I looked out at the window.

Saan kaya kami pupunta? Ba't ako pa yung kailangan niyang isama? Pwede naman si Drake ah?

I yawned and I feel so sleepy. I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep.

JAKE'S POV

I looked at her and I noticed that she's asleep.

Seriously? Pati ba naman siya tutulugan ako? Wow.

I parked my car in the parking lot. Today, bibili ako ng bagong Drum dahil luma na at medyo sira na ang Drum ko.

She woke up when I exactly parked my car.

She rubbed her eyes and yawned again. "You're not in a room to sleep." I said and she got shocked and she realized that she's inside my car.

"Where are we?" She asked.

"Wag ka nang mag tanong. Sumunod ka na lang. Okay?"

Naglakad na kami papunta sa loob ng shop. Pag pasok namin, napansin kong tumigil siya at tumingin sa paligid.

"Sir Jake?" An employee approached him.

"Oh. I'm here to take my drum." I said and he nodded.

"Yes, sir. It's already ready."

KHLEA'S POV

I looked around the place. There are pianos, guitars, violins, drums and many more instruments inside.

This is my first time entering a shop like this. The atmosphere is quiet. Few people are around and the style of the shop is vintage.

3 employees walked out of a room carrying a big box.

Sa loob noon, nakalagay ang bagong drum na binili ni Jake. They took it out para icheck ni Jake kung may sira ba or he changed his mind.

He nodded at inayos nila ulit ito. We left the shop and I'm curious.

"Hindi mo ba kukunin yun?" I asked him and he rolled his eyes.

"Sa tingin mo kasya yun dito sa kotse ko?"

Oo nga naman. Hindi naman pala kasya yun dito sa loob.

"So, i-dedeliver na lang nila yun sa bahay niyo?"

"Yup."

Tumahimik ulit kaming dalawa but a few minutes later, nag park siya sa isang restaurant and I looked at him with a curious face again.

"Ba't tayo nandito?" I asked.

"I'm hungry. Bumaba ka na kakain tayo." He said.

"But, I don't have my money!" I shouted.

"I have my money."

"And so?"

"I'll treat you, ofcourse."

I shut my mouth. Is he serious? Suddenly treating me to a restaurant..

We entered the restaurant at narinig ko ang soft violin playing.

It was beautiful and calming. We walked up to the rooftop.

If you look around, makikita mo ang magagandang city lights. Most of the people eating around us are couples and that made me feel weird.

It was cold at simpleng shirt lang ang suot ko ngayon.

I rubbed my arms with my hands.

Tumayo si Jake and he took off his jacket and sinuot niya ito sa akin. My eyes widened.

"Aren't you cold?" I asked him.

He didn't answer back and I just stared at him.

He have very beautiful black eyes. Maamo ang mukha niya at hindi mo aakalaing isa siyang bully and a cold guy.

I quickly shook my head. No falling in love Khlea. No.

Ayokong mafall kay Jake dahil hindi naman kami bagay. Ayaw niya sakin. Alam kong ako yung pinaka ayaw niyang tao sa buhay niya. Kitang-kita naman sa mga tingin niya sakin.

I looked away. But then, I felt his eyes staring right at me.

He's observing my every move and it creeps me out.

I stood up. "I-I'm going to the rest room."

I ran away towards the rest room. I looked at myself in the mirror. My cheeks are red, I'm breathing heavily and my heart is racing.

I remembered his face. I placed my hand near my heart.

And...

And..

A-And..

I felt that I'm in love.
