19 - Restart

ZANDER'S POV

I'm hugging Kate tightly. I feel like not letting her go from my arms.

I felt her arms rubbing my back and then she stopped and hugged me back.

I don't know why I feel this way right now. But, I don't care. I love this feeling.

I slowly closed my eyes and my lips curved into a smile. I placed my chin on top of her shoulder.

This is the best embrace that I ever had. I slowly pulled away and she looked embarassed.

I looked down at my feet secretly hiding my smile.

"T-Thanks. I'm going back." She said and I nodded my head. I watched her as she left.

I sat on a chair and sighed. I feel energized and happy in a sudden. Ganoon ba talaga kapag may kayakap kang babae? O.. si Kate lang talaga ang dahilan?

I slapped my face. "Ahhh! Zander, wake up!" I said to myself.

"Pero kung panaginip man toh.. ayoko ng magising." Ang mga salitang yun ay bigla na lang lumabas sa bibig ko.

It felt like I'm embracing an angel.

KATE'S POV

I touched both of my cheeks. Ugh, mahihimatay na yata ako. Ba't ginawa niya yun?

Ano ba yun? Friendly hug?

Oo. Friendly hug lang yun. Haysst! Nag iisip nanaman ako ng kung ano-ano!

Paulit-ulit kong binatukan ang sarili ko hanggang mag mukha na lang akong tanga sa mga kilos ko.

When I entered the classroom, si sir George na lang ang nakita ko. Wala na yung mga classmates ko na kanina lang ay busy sa pag pepainting.

"Are you okay now? Uwian na kaya pwede ka ng umuwi. Bukas mo na lang ituloy yung painting mo." He said and I nodded. I was about to leave pero pinigilan niya ko.

"By the way, may isang may ari ng museum na na-impress mo dahil sa latest painting mo. He even wants to buy your painting and display it in his museum!" He said and I was amused.

"Talaga po?"

"Yes. He's also amazed nang nalaman niyang apo ka ng isa sa mga magagaling na pintor in the country. Papayag ka bang ibenta ang painting mo?"

"Pero, okay lang po ba yun sir? Hindi pa naman po ako kilala ng mga tao as a painter.."

"It's totally okay, Kate. Makakatulong rin sayo yun para makilala ka ng mga tao."

I smiled and nodded my head. "Then, I'm willing to sell it, sir!" I said with confidence and a great smile.

I walked out of the school happily. I saw Zander standing before the gate. He turned to me and he smiled.

"You look so happy?" He asked.

"Yes, I am." I smiled at him.

"What is it?"

"Well, an owner of a museum wants to buy my artwork and display it in his museum."

"Oh, dad wants to?"

I furrowed my brows. "What do you mean dad?" I asked.

"Kasama kong pumunta si dad kahapon dito. Tinignan namin yung mga paintings but, I didn't know na nagustuhan niya yung sayo?"

"Omg. Really? Wait, never mong sinabi na may museum kayo?"

"Oh, really? Sorry. Akala ko alam mo na."

"What?"

I sighed. "Haysst. Sa tingin ko hindi pa talaga kita kilala ng tunay. How about we go from the start and know ourselves more?" I asked him and he smiled brightly.

"Sounds good." He said.

"Hi, I'm Alex Zander Parker, and you?"

"Hello, I'm Eloisa Kate Villamayor. It's nice meeting you, Alex."

"It's a pleasure meeting you,

Eloisa." We smiled at each other and I shook his hand.

From now on, I will just pretend that this is my first time that I met him. I want to reset my feelings for him. Ayoko ng bumalik pa toh.
