Annabeth's POV.

"Uh...hi." I said awkwardly as the women I call my mother stares into the eyes of her rebellious daughter.

She shook her head like she was disappointed in me.

I wouldn't blame her.

"I come here from all the way from California to hear my-that you were in a car accident and all you have to say is hi. How can you be so stupid and reckless?!" She asked in disbelief.

"Um excuse me, but the only real reason I'm here is because you don't know what's mine and what's yours. Give me back my son!" I yelled. I can't believe this women coming up here with Percy's and my baby and then criticising me.

"Children, would you mind leaving the room for a bit. I need to talk to Annabeth alone." She said so sweetly that it made me sick.

I shook my head no to the others telling them not to leave.

"I actually do mind. That's my son in a room with a psychopath and a injured person. I think I should stay." Percy said as he crossed his arms and leaned on the creamy white walls. The others left much to my dismay, but I trust Percy to protect me and Noah.

As soon as the others left the room, I glared into the eyes of the women who gave birth to me. She looked at me and smiled. Okay nobody looks at me and smiles, so something is definitely up.

"What do you want?" Percy asked as he came up to her and pried the baby out of her hands. Luckily she didn't put up a fight and let Percy cradle Noah in his arms.

"Well all I wanted was to hold my only grandson in my arms. I knew you wouldn't even let me come close to him, so I stold him. Is it bad that I just wanted to at least hold him? Is it bad, Annabeth?" She asked.

"Okay, I get that you wanted to see him, but stealing him? Really? Athena, you used to be the greatest mom in the world. And now I can't even trust you to even see Noah ever again. You were a responsible woman and I actually was in a time that I looked up to you. What happened?" I said.

"You happened!" She screamed.

"Hey! Stop it right there!" Percy yelled as he stood next to me holding Noah close to his chest.

"It's true! You don't deserve Noah like that. You're not qualified to even be alive!"

I covered my ears with the palm of my hands.

"Shut up!" I yelled.

"Okay, it's about time you leave. You made your business here, now get out." Percy said. He handed me Noah and walked up to Athena pushing her out.

"Okay, but I have one more thing to do before I leave." She said. I looked at her curiously. What else does she have to do? She already made enough damage mentally to my brain.

"What?" Percy asked quietly as he stared into her eyes.

"This." She pulled out a gun and held it in the air. She was going to shoot!

It was either Percy, Noah, me or her that was gonna get the bullet."

And then she shot.

Oh. My. God.
