Annabeth's POV.

I would say that I felt guilty about lying to my mom, but I would be kidding myself. Lately we gave benn hanging out. Kind of like we are friends more than mom and daughter. It's weird, but it's worth not being trouble for awhile!

The way my mom is treating me is like I am a princess. So a lesson for you is "When in doubt...lie!" It works.

I headed down the stairs and didn't stop for breakfast. My mom came up to me.

"Do you need a ride?" She asked.

"No. Percy is drooping me off." I told her and walked out the door.

"Bye, honey!" She yelled as I made my way over to Percy's motorcycle. I remember the time when I first had a ride on Percy's motorcycle. That was very fun.

"Hey, Annabeth. Ready to go?" He asked after he gave a quick kiss.

"I mean if you really want to go to school we can go." I smirked. He gave me a look telling me that we were going no matter what.

"Let's go." He said and drove off. Even though I like riding on his motorcycle, I still never get used to that feeling that I'm about to fall off.

When we arrived at school I immediately hopped off. I gave Percy a hug and made my way inside the school while he went to talk to his friends. I looked around for Katie and finally spotted her. She was talking to Hazel and Clarisse. I walked up to them and gave them hugs.

"Hello, my favorite dudettes in the world." I greeted them.

"Why do you seem so happy today?" Clarisse asked. I shrugged my shoulders. I rested my elbow on Hazel's shoulder.

"I don't know, I just am." I answered honestly. "But I do need to tell you guys something. I can't tell you here, so let's go ahead and head outside." I said.

"We have class, Annabeth." Katie said. I rolled my eyes and slouched my shoulders.

"Buzz kill." I muttered. She laughed. She said her goodbye and went on to class. I grabbed Clarisse's and Hazel's arms and dragged them outside the school. Once we we were in a spot where no one can hear us I began to tell them my news.

"Okay, well...I'm pregnant!" I said a little too loud. Hazel and Clarisse kept their mouth shut and pointed behind me. I turned and was face to face with Percy.

"You're what?!" He asked. I didn't say anything, for I was afraid to make him even more angry than what he is now. By this time Hazel and Clarisse left me stranded. I have such great friends.

"Percy..." I finally said in a small whisper. He stared at me with disgust and walked away. I ran up to catch up with him.

"Leave me alone, Annabeth!" He said. I grabbed his arm and force him to look at me. I placed my two hands on each shoulder.

"Listen Percy! Can we talk in private?" I asked. He didn't say anything, so I took that as a yes. We walked all the way to behind the school. He stood there waiting for me to say something.

"Well?!" He yelled. I sighed.

"Yes I am pregnant, but I just found out last week and-." He cut me off.

"Last week? You knew since last week and didn't even tell your own boyfriend. Jeez, Annabeth sometimes I feel like I'm the one who is trying to make this relationship work for us." He snapped. I took a deep breath, and tried to control my anger.

"That's not true. I try to make this relationship work just as much as you do." I said while trying to hold back my tears.

"Could've fooled me." He laughed bitterly. I couldn't help but let all my sobs out. .

"You're a jerk, Percy! I can't believe you would say such a thing like that to me. I'm sick and tired fighting with you. You never listen to me! I need a break from you. And don't expect to see your kid " I said as I walked away from Percy. What hurt the most was that he didn't run after me.

I made my way inside the school and went to Clarisse's homeroom. I stood in front of her door trying to get her attention. She finally looked at me and asked the teacher if she could go to the bathroom.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Percy happened! He hurt me. I just want to leave. Right now! I feel sick." I told her.

"Annabeth...calm down. Head on over to the nurse and rest. You look like your gonna have a panic attack. Please calm down." She said. I shook my head.

"I can't help, but freak out right now. I'm just gonna go." I said in deep breaths. I ran away and headed over to the janitor's closet. The janitor never uses his room anyway.

I'm a very screwed up girl. Always have been, always will be.
