Chris’ POV/Your POV
I woke up early today and got ready fast so I still have time to spend with my parents before going to school. They’re leaving today. I don’t know how much I’ll miss them.
‘Don’t worry Chris, stay calm. They’re only going abroad for 4 months and also for our sake. J’ I then smiled to myself after getting more confidence. I headed downstairs for breakfast. I saw my parents there and also L.Joe oppa.
‘That’s a surprise. Since when L.Joe oppa’s a morning person? Alarm never work on him, except my taekwondo butt-kick when we sleep in the same bunk bed.’
“Hey sis, let’s have a family time before school, I guess? Hehehe” he pulled the chair beside me and allowed me to sit. “Thanks.” I said. So during those 20 minutes, we chatted a lot with Eomma and Appa before they go to the airport. Finally, the time came.
“Chris! L.Joe! It’s already 7:30! Go to school now! Anyway we will also go to the airport soon. We will miss you” Eomma and Appa hugged oppa and me. “Bye mom, dad.” Both of us said together while waving. So they left first while oppa and I are still putting on our sneakers.
“Annyeong oppa, Zelo must be here anytime waiting for me.” I quickly grabbed my skateboard and headed outside, “See you at school.”
“Okay bye.” Oppa said while preparing his stuffs too. I went outside and Zelo was there already, as usual.
“Yo Skyscraper.”
“Wassup Electricity Pole?” we bumped fist, like we usually do.
“So? Let’s skate now.”
'Hmn, he's no longer awkward. I guess he's just tired yesterday...' I thought.
Just like our normal days, we skate together to school while chatting. In about 10 minutes, we arrived at school. But I can see the students were all standing in the court neatly based on their class, just like a flag ceremony.
“We will be having flag ceremony today?” Zelo is still staring at those students. “I don’t think so. Cuz’ if there’s a flag ceremony, it won’t be this crowded.” I can hear most of the students were talking so loud. What’s with that commotion?
“Attention students! Please be quiet while your principle is here.” The principle used a speaker so the whole student can listen. Actually there aren’t really many students. Only 2 classes for each year.
‘How principle-ish…’ I thought.
“Hey Chris let’s line up there.” I agreed and followed Zelo. We stood in 1 line and waited for the principle’s announcement.
“So to all students, our school will be having Halloween Festival this 30th and 31st October. Even though it’s only the 9th of October today, we need to prepare stuffs because we will be inviting the public too. But before preparing stuffs, the student councils need to plan what to be displaced for the Halloween festivals.”
‘Halloween festival? This is awesome; I really wanna go to a Halloween festival so badly. I love everything like scary cosplays and ghost house :D’ Suddenly I felt brighten up.
“Okay students, back to your class!”
“Let’s go Chris.” Zelo shrugged me and we went back to our class.
