With summertime comes the need to take care of yourself even more than usual.

*Make frozen aloe cubes! Grab a bottle of aloe very and squeeze the stuff into an ice cube tray, filling each square. Keep it in the freezer until you need to use one. It feels so great to rub a cube onto bad sunburns!

*Lighten hair with chamomile tea! Works great with blonde hair.

*You can remove self tanner with baking soda.

*Soothe rashes around your bikini line area with green tea bags.

*Use olive oil or coconut oil to help with of dry hair.

*You can also use coconut oil to fight frizz.

*A Vinegar rinse can help keep hair color from fading.

*If your feet are hard and cracked after walking around a lot, fresh potato slices on your heels can soften the skin.

*Massaging aloe vera into your scalp can help get rid of dryness and itchiness in that area.

*Yogurt is great for soothing sunburns!

*Instead of using waterproof mascara when swimming, use Vaseline, applying with a clean mascara brush. It's waaaaay better for your eyelashes than waterproof mascara.

How to protect your hair from the sun:
Mix water, SPF lotion, and rosemary and rub through hair.
Defrizz:
Water, Aloe, Argan oil, glycerin.
Texturize:
Water, Coconut oil, salt.
Lighten:
Water, Chamomile, lemon, almond oil.
Condition:
Coconut milk, water, olive oil.
