We're girls, our lives can be pretty rough sometimes. So here are some tips for what to do after a long, hard crying sessions, 'cuz you're gonna be feeling exhausted and drained after a good cry.
1.) Take a shower. Give yourself a nice hot steamy shower. (Also feel free to continue crying session in here if you feel the need to). Use a nice calming scented body wash and lotion after.
2.) Make sure you change your clothes. Wear something comfy. Trust me, it'll help.
3.) Pour yourself a big glass of cold water and drink it all. You're probably dehydrated from crying. Once you're done, have a refill. It'll boost you physically and emotionally.
4.) Get yourself a snack. Just something quick you dont have to do much to prepare like yogurt, a piece of fruit, a Popsicle, or some chips/crackers or a cookie.
5.) Get under the covers a put something on. A show, some music, call up a friend. Anything to help you ease back into a good mood.
6.) Know that you are loved. You are important, you mean more than you know right now, maybe more than you'll ever know. You deserve to feel good and happy.
This is so important, rather than feeling stressed and blundering through the day, you need to take some time to give yourself the love and attention you deserve. That way, you can get back to feeling better faster. Take care of you first, you are your top priority.
