"Through The Thick And Thin", yup this chapters gonna be about thin and thick hair! Haha you must hate me for being so pun-ny!
Thin/Fine hair problems:
-You have to constantly fix your ponytails and braids, as your hair loves to slip out of hair elastics
-Using Hair conditioner frequently makes you hair greasy
-Ya sometimes gotta put sunscreen on your hairline and part because scalp sunburn is so real for you
- After what seems like hours of curling or straightening, your hair goes back to normal after like an hour
(I can relate to all of these, as I have very fine hair)
Thick/Coarse hair problems:
-You buy a lot of shampoo/Conditioner frequently
-Regular hair elastics, pins, and plastic combs are two week
-When coloring your hair, you require huge amounts of dye
-It takes FOREVER for your hair to dry naturally
-Actually, it also takes a long time for your hair to blow dry too
-You leave a trail of hair everywhere
Tips for Thin hair:
-Use a salt spray before blow drying
-To get more volume, blow dry your hair upside down
-Dry shampoo is a miracle worker!
-Try a nice, flattering looking short haircut (I just barely cut off like a foot from my hair and I feel so much prettier!)
Tips for Thick hair:
-Go for long layers in a haircut
-Longer hairstyles can help keep your hair from looking so floofy and voluminous at your scalp
-Invest in special elastics, clips/pins, and good hard combs
-Instead of a full hair dye, go for ombre or highlights instead to save money on coloring
Don'ts for Thin Hair:
- Don't use too hair product, it'll weigh your hair down a ton
-Don't cut into thin layers
-Dont use conditioner at your scalp, just on your ends
-Don't flat iron the ends
Don'ts for Thick Hair:
-Don't wash your hair everyday, your natural oils will condition it on their own
-Don't run your hands through it often , that will make it stick up
-Don't use a bristle brush
-Don't blow dry your hair if you can help it, it can make your hair extra poofy
